Halloween

It's been a fun Halloween day!!! We started the day off with Emory's Halloween Parade and party!

can't you just tell their teachers are fun and crazy! This is them dancing before the parade and party even started!!

Emory loved walking around and waving to everyone!

then they danced some more!

And wrapped mommies like mummies!

Then ate and ate and ate! every single one of the kids were crying like crazy when their parents left. For about 10 minutes I thought I might go insane! but they all stopped when it was time to go outside- cried the whole way to the playground then they all just stopped! all but mine- who ended up coming home with me and was asleep before we got out of the parking lot! The girl sure does love her sleep:)

Then we headed to gymnastics where CC got to wear her costume!

Little Miss Priss and I hung around to watch for a while!

Bat Girl in action!!

Picking up Halloween spiders with her toes and swinging to put them in the bucket! Sounds pretty hard to me, but she could do it easily!!

Hanging contest!

After gymnastics, Cc went trick or treating with her friend and we took Emory to a few houses and called it a night! She was fine with it, and actually enjoyed our Publix trick or treating the most! Did you know that Publix does a little trick or treating thing every year? You go around to different stations (bakery, meat department, produce) and they give you candy and toys. It sounds really cheesy (especially when I am typing that we went trick or treating in the meat department, but it was fun for the kiddos.) Emory got balloons, crayons, cookies, meat (ha- just kidding!). anyway, enough about Publix....we all had a fun Halloween and Bryan and I are about to hop in bed to eat all their candy:):):)

Rock Ranch and a surprise

This weekend, we down to my parents house where the girls spent the weekend with Gran while Bryan and I went to the Auburn/Ole Miss game- WAR EAGLE!

Gran and March took the girls to Rock Ranch to play and have fun. I can't wait to go- it looked like a blast for kids.

They have an itty bitty city, where all the buildings are kid-sized. Here are Emory and Christian in church- CC actually said a prayer while up there:)

CC rode little pedal power go carts!

Here's Emory in the ice-cream shop!

They rode horses, and CC is hooked! She wants to take horse riding lessons now. We really might look into it- how fun would it be a horse rider (what are they called?!)

rode a cow train!

My mom said Emory really wanted to ride. But she would get on, cry, get off- get on, cry, get off- finally she decided to ride with Gran by her....she loved it too!

Then we all went to pick up PawPaw from the airport. He retired a few weeks ago and went to Kentucky to visit all our family and his friends up there. For 2 weeks, he ate, drank, and hung out with all his old buddies (some he's been friends with since pre-school. That's A LOOONG time!!). I think he was in heaven!!

But we made it easier to come home, by surprising him at the airport! He didn't know we were going to be there, so he was happy! And so were the girls.

CC made him a sign and got a picture with Curious George (the class pet who visits the kids on the weekend:)

The girls really liked playing in all the airport chairs!

Emory wanted to hold Pawpaw's pinkie as they walked out.

They didn't want to leave his side.

And they both cried and cried when we had to leave Gran and Pawpaw. CC kept saying, "But I miss them" Emory kept saying 'come to my home. Mama, they come to my home."

It was a fun weekend! We told them that Gran and Pawpaw are coming to our house soon, so now Emory keeps asking "Gran and Pawpaw come to my house now?" !

field trip

CC had her first 'big school' field trip last week to the pumpkin patch.

I swear, one day Christian is going to try to hide in her teacher's purse and go home with her if she could! She absolutely loves her!

She was beyond excited about riding the bus!

her three FANTASTIC teachers! Aren't they cute in their pumpkin shirts:)

picking our pumpkin

picking cotton!

Christian had so much fun with her class on their field trip, and I had so much being with her for the day.

21 days

Who knows what happens in 21 days?????????

BREAKING DAWN comes out! Ahhhhhhh! I can't wait. I have jury duty the Monday before the movie comes out. I'm pretty excited because I will hopefully have time to reread Breaking Dawn before I go see the movie 20 times.

More of Emory's day

I just love getting pictures of Emory's day at school. She loves her teachers and school so much- and so do we!!!!

I don't have a clue what they are doing, but it looks fun:):):)

She is hilarious! the other day we were in a store and CC was being so loud and be silly. We told her to be quiet and not be so loud. She said " I can't help it. Emory is just so funny and I can't quit laughing at her." it's true- we all feel that way!!

Doesn't she look so old in this picture? I think it's her "never been cut" hair that does it.

Uh-Uh.... This must be towards the end of the day. I know that face all too well!

BOO

We headed to Boo at the Zoo last night with our great friends! We went to an early dinner and got to the zoo a little after it opened. It's a great time since it's not super crowded, still light, and not all the silly teenagers in scary costumes are there yet. Emory was real unsure of the whole thing but still had fun! she did get upset because we didn't ride Diamond Diamond the horse on the merry go round (one of the many things she has named diamond diamond!)everyone should go- it's really a lot of fun!

They all love the talking pumpkin and always want to stand there forever!

DANCE PARTY!

We don't know this little boy but the two of them got so excited to see each other- batman and batgirl!

Emory getting ready to sting Alex the Lion:)

WAR EAGLE

Trick or treating! Emory finally caught on to the whole thing-'All I have to say is Trick or treat and people give me candy!' she would not leave until each person at the booth gave her some:):)) So she ended up with a ton of candy- mama and daddy are happy:):):)

Getting into character!

Loving the candy!
