girly girls

Happy Emory!
Check out this fancy Jasmine outfit with shoes!

Ava and baby Kate, Claire (her baby sister will be born in April), Sophia and baby Elise, and Christian and baby Emory. Does it look like Emory could crush Christian!?

right before the dance party started!

Stephen throwing CC around!!! Just kidding- she loved it:):)

And here is just a little bit of the dance show we got from the girls. .

Friday night, we had Mama & Me- Mom's night out at my house while CC and Daddy went to dinner and a movie. Even though the weather was horrible, we had a wonderful time relaxing and talking! One funny thing- after the movie, Bryan drove by and saw that everyone was still here, so they drove around (I told him to come home after the movie, but he didn't want to come in with all the 'ladies' here!. So anyway, after awhile CC came up with a plan:

CC: "Daddy, you stay in the car and I will go inside and say 'Wadies, you need to GO HOME'. then I come get you and you come inside."

Ahhhh.....my sweet, shy child! Needless to say- Bryan decided to drive around for a while longer. No need to create a scene! Mamas....I promise- she's a sweet little angel and would have loved to sit around with everyone until the wee hours of the morning!:):):)

Saturday night we headed over to the Meacham's for dinner. There were 4 girls all CC's age and their sisters. So needless to say- the princess dresses were on before we even put our bags down. The girls had the best time EVER- even giving us a dance show towards the end of the night (complete with CC watching a Beyonce video and attempting to do all of her moves. We could not stop laughing!) We all had the best time. Christian is still talking about the great princess dresses that Sophia has and hasn't let go of the lip gloss that Sophia gave her! Thanks for having us over Meacham family. Let's do it again soon!

Another funny conversation with CC:(picture it....right after waking up, first thing in the morning- Bryan and CC cuddling while watching cartoons)

CC: "Ummm..Daddy- I need to sit with mommy. your breath does not smell good"

This week

CC had class picture day at school. doesn't she look cute?! This will be her first class picture...I'm so excited to see it.
Fran and Lucy came in town! YAY! It was a fun time getting the girls to play together and getting to see Fran. I have to tell this.....Lucy was holding the ROBERT PATTINSON book in her hand when I opened the door. Well.....a while later Fran commented on my UGGS that were out. "Mallory, you know, Robert doesn't like Uggs!"...Good to know Fran. When we meet I'll be sure to wear a different pair of shoes. So, I spent the night reading up on my Rob and the very last sentence of the book is "Robert does not like UGGS!!!!" FRAN- YOU READ THE WHOLE BOOK TOO!!!!! I LOVE IT! hehehe...sorry Fran...I don't know why I thought it was so funny :):) love ya and glad you came in town. I miss ya

we headed to the library for story time but it was canceled. So the girls just played instead...everything was a perfect size for them. Bryan and I took CC and Emory back on Saturday. CC played on the computer and checked out her first books and even got two videos to watch.
I thought this picture was funny of Emory and Haley "talking' to each other.

Haley, Emory, Georgia, and Lucy
They all thought they were such big girls standing up playing with the toys.

I picked CC up early from school to head to the park since it was such a pretty day outside- makes me ready for spring. She insisted on getting in this swing....her feet were dragging on the ground!

Her friend from school, Lydia, came to play with CC. they had the best time with each other.
Christian keeps telling me that she is going to Lydia's house or Katie's house to play. One day she told me that Lydia was going to tell her mommy and Katie was going to tell her mommy so they can play together. While I was talking to Lydia's mommy, she told me that Lydia tells her the same thing.

I love this little girl!

fueling the fire

so first things first....my BFF, Fran, called me Friday and told me she got me a gift! Gifts are always fun- and this one is GREAT! She knows (and has heard me talk about him too many times) that I am currently having a crush on Robert Pattinson:):). So, she was at a book store that was going out of business and GOT ME A ROBERT PATTINSON BOOK!! I knew we were friends for a reason! Makes me want to start singing "That's what friends are for..."
Thanks Franny! Can't wait to see you, Lucy (and Robert) on Tuesday...hehehe
We had dinner with the neighbors last night and of course, the girls turned into princesses within 5 minutes of being there!

Emory and Sophie are 2 months apart (Sophie and CC share a June 30th bday!) They were cute together- grabbing at each other and shrieking

Brooke made heart cookies and they decorated them....so creative (and brave!)

Daddy and daughters.
And.......this morning we all slept until 8:15 am! Ahhhhh....

just like home!

CC and Sophia.....not sure what they are doing!

Great friends! It was so good to see Cooper. I used to see him everyday last year, and he has gotten so big! I miss that little guy!

Look at big girl Emory holding her cup!

gotta love baby Kate!

We are slowly learning that these girls could play together anywhere! While at the zoo, they played doctor, hair cut, and jail...did not care AT ALL about the zoo. Poor little Cooper looked at his mom at one point and said "I WANT TO SEE THE ZOO!" I don't blame him, but he is going to be a great husband one day- very patient with all the girls around him!

This is how CC spent most of the day. Poor girl can't keep her pants up- wish I had that problem. (I know she is going to kill me for this one day, but I couldn't resist!)
We FINALLY had a pretty day here, so we headed to the zoo with friends. We spent 4 hours there and saw maybe 3 animals! Between the babies, Christian running away from me, and the girls playing doctor on the bench, we didn't move too much while at zoo. It felt like we would walk for a few minutes then stop for 15 minutes- move a little bit and stop for 15 minutes! Regardless, it was fun (and the girls took GREAT, LONG naps!!!)

It's official.......

I'm obsessed!

I am putting this picture up here to remind me that I am a 30 year old, married mom with two children. Not a high school student in love with a vampire!
I am absolutely obsessed with the Twilight books....and Robert Pattinson. In the span of 2 weeks, I have neglected my family, not cleaned, worked out longer than I ever have, and read ALL 4 of the Twilight Saga books. I couldn't put them down. I know I'm a little behind the trend, and I have NO idea why I didn't read them earlier.
I have watched the Twilight movie twice and dragged my sweet hubby to a 10:00 movie to see New Moon. And on June 30, 2010 instead of celebrating my daughter's 4th birthday, I will be hanging out with a bunch of 16 year olds at the midnight showing of Eclipse! :):):)
And my new crush is Robert Pattinson...whew...he's good lookin'!

Annie

We left Emory here with the neighbor who was practicing babysitting.....our little guinea pig! She is in the 8th grade and her mom came over to help too! Since we had already left, Bryan and my dad showed her what to do with Emory. Bryan said she liked Hampton just has much (if not more!!) than Emory.
Christian LOVED The Fox theater. The second we walked in, she said "I love this place!"

Queen Gran and Princess Christian

They wouldn't let you take pictures inside the theater, so we had to step out in lobby....

Christian did great and only got a little fidgety towards the end. She fell asleep soon after getting in the car...it's hard having to be quiet for so long!!!!
This weekend my mom, Christian, and I headed to Atlanta to watch ANNIE the play while my dad and Bryan went to the UK/AU basketball game. It was such a fun time and we loved the play. Annie was my all time favorite movie when I was little. I mean....I LOVED it! So we jumped at the chance to let CC see the play. About 50% of the people there were children.....some dressed up like Annie- wig and all!! We all had a great time.

Another first

Emory's first bubble bath.....:):):)
(for those who might worry{mom} ......I promise we were being super careful with her while she is sliding in the bath- she and CC LOVED it!!!!)

Gigi

Christian's prayer last night began with:
"Please bless my Gigi in the hospital and the church....she got Jesus in the church"
She must think about her a lot....I do too.

No mommies allowed

Emory gets so excited when she pulls herself up....it' the cutest thing!
getting ready for the big date.

just got back from Monster Truck show

10 minutes later!!!

Emory as Strawberry Shortcake! She didn't really like it too much, so I'm not sure if this is a smile or about to have a meltdown.

Friday was the big night- the count down is over......it's "Monster Trucks with Daddy" night! CC has been counting down the days all week- not really knowing what she was going to, but just excited to be going somewhere with just her daddy...no mommy and no baby sister. To make it even better, Sophia and her daddy were going too!
The Meacham's came over beforehand for pizza (had to tell the girls that they could not change into princess dresses before they leave). While the girls went on their date, Angela, Elise, Emory, and I had a wild night of sewing! As soon as they walked in the door, the clothes were off and princesses dresses on. These two girls are great friends....two peas in a pod....although Sophia might need to give Christian some of her dancing lessons!!!:):)
Then Saturday was a "Mommy Only" day!!! Denise, Angela, and I headed to Ross Bridge to spend the day at the spa...It was the best day ever. For 5 1/2 hours we relaxed and didn't have to worry about anything....ahhhhhh.....so nice.
After coming back from Monster Trucks, it turned into a dance club at our house...check it out!!

7:30 AM

Conversation with Christian:
CC: Daddy, you are my friend
Daddy: I AM! Thank you! You are my best friend.
CC: I AM!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear I saw a tear in Bryan's eye.
(15 minutes earlier........ CC was going back and forth with Bryan b/c he found a bite mark on little thing we have and CC was denying that she did it. She was actually blaming it on her friend, Ava. Sorry Ava you weren't here to defend yourself!!! Well, we decided to let it go- pick your battles, right???!!! a few minutes later.....
CC: Mommy, I need to go to time out
Me: Okay, why?
CC: Because I lied, I did bite it. I sorry
Glad she came clean, I guess....little stinker!
(This morning in bed)
CC: Mommy, why do we have a chin?
Me: Uhhhh....I don't know!!! (she got me on that one!!!)
CC: Well, why are our ears right here.
Me: Uhhhh...I don't know!!!!! (she got me again!)
One night, after bath, Bryan was heading to the store. Christian decided she wanted to go with him. So she took it upon herself to change out of her pajamas into something more suitable for Lowe's! An Auburn shirt and a shirt as pants! Then when they got to the store she had to take her jacket off to show everyone her Auburn shirt....And NO....we did NOT let her go to the store in the shirt/pants. This outfit reminds me of a time that I went to kindergarten in yellow pants, purple knee high hose which I would roll down into a little circle around my ankles, and pink jellies (Ellen....NO comments about wearing ties!!!!:):):)

Still Christmas

Emory is now standing up in her crib....such a big girl.
What- is this not my present?

AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (this was the reaction I was expecting on Christmas morning, but instead I got puke!)

Daddy got an i-pie touch as CC calls it

her favorite gift....a jewelry box

This girl is getting spoiled.....we even did stockings.

This bow is really for CC, but I thought Emory looked mighty cute in it....

We all three got twisty turbies.....if anyone lived with me in college probably remembers my twisty turbies.....I personally think they are the best invention and wear one every day(okay....not every day since a shower is sometimes not in the cards for the day!!!!- my pre-baby self would NEVER go a day without showering!!!)

We had lunch with one of my best friends in the world, Ellen. I don't get to see her nearly as much as I would like. love ya El!~

Papaw and CC made some sort of cinnamon cream cheese pastry.....really good.

Bryan watching the Auburn game....poor Emory!!!

The newlyweds, CC, and Andrew celebrating Christmas on New Year's day since my parents we in Disney World and we were in Nashville

The fam.
Well......it was Christmas for 2 weeks for my family! My parents were in Disney World for Christmas while we were in Nashville, so we celebrated a little later together. It was fun to be home and the girls had the best time with their Gran and Papaw.
