A lot going for me...
1. I got a haircut- wanted long layers. Well, the first layer is above my ear with the rest of my hair past my shoulders. Oh, and now I have bangs that I didn't ask for.....Does anyone watch Teen mom (should I be embarrassed that I do:):):) Well, I look like a mix of Tyler's mom and Farrah's mom. So, I will have a pony tail until this mess grows out
2. I went for an eye appt to find out I have some nasty allergic reaction type thing from washing put my contact case WITH WATER!!! What???? (you are supposed to use a new contact case each month and never use water to clean it- only solution).
The doctor wants me to:
a) put steroid and allergy drops in my eyes four times a day for 2 weeks
b) NOT WEAR MAKE-UP for 2 weeks( she's absolutely nuts...I just smiled and okay, but that's not happening)
c) wear glasses for 2 weeks( I didn't even own glasses so I bought a pair for $30----did you even know you could buy glasses for that cheap. Just take a guess what they look like- yup... Not cute!!) and my prescription went from +1.25 to +2.25 in a year!!! I'm slowly going blind!!
So, feel free to ignore me if you see me out in public. I'll be the one with no make-up, cheap glasses, and hair in a pony!! I might have to go shopping so at least my clothes will look cute!!

September- big baby month!!
Lots of babies are being born!!!

My cousin Courtney had her baby, Allie!!! She is named after our Gran and absolutely perfect. They live in Texas so I haven't met her yet and it's killing me! Christmas can't get here fast enough so I can love on her

My friend lyndsay had her baby boy Wyatt and he is cute as a button. They make the cutest babies- his brother is just as cute as him. I havent made it to meet him year either. Life needs to slow down so I can have time I meet all these new people:))

My BFF, Shanna, had her baby Owen a week ago. He was not suppose to make his grand entrance until November 30th, but just couldn't wait to meet his mama and daddy! He is a fighter and already breathing in his own and already proving to be a feisty one!!! They live in Arizona so we haven't met either but I'm getting plenty of pics to keep up with how cute he is! He is already an Auburn fan and yelling "war eagle" like the rest of his family.
And even more exciting news!!! I am going to be an aunt to a baby girl! A first for me and my SIL- after 3 boys, a girl is coming along to spice things up! Either she'll be playing with legos or having her brothers dress up as princesses:):) she is guaranteed to be protected by her brothers and spoiled by her aunt and uncle. We all gave our opinions on names. Emory is thinking either Walton, Sally, or diamond diamond. Christian thinks Sarah, and I have been calling this baby by the same name for 10 years!!
And... My other BFF, Fran, is having her baby boy in October but already acting like he is ready to come!! I'll get to meet him shortly after he is born- I can't wait!! I know he is going to love me- I just know it-hehehe!!
And my other BFF, Ellen is having a baby in march. I might just have to drive down and wait right outside the delivery room to see this precious one. I'm so excited for their mama and daddy.
All of these babies are SO blessed to have great mamas. I know because they are all great friends to me!
I have baby fever:0

Hard at work

Christian's teacher emailed us these pictures of CC "working" today during school! Isn't that thoughtful. I know how busy busy busy teachers are during the day, so it means so much that her teacher took the time to do this! I just love all her teachers and want to give them a hug everyday for loving my little girl. Christian loves mrs. Morton so much, that the second she walks into my classroom at the end of the day she wants to run back to give her teacher a hug- before she has even hugged me!!! That makes me happy.

Today was hat day at school, so she wore her Tennessee Titians hat that uncle Robert bought her. Doesn't she look cute! Although, somehow her hair got so tangled in the Velcro she had to come to me during the day to get it out:)
And another exciting that that made our day was Christian read a book ALL BY HERSELF today! She was so proud of herself, that she wanted to call everyone she knew. We called gran, pawpaw, and aunt Paige. Next up was Mimi and Grandaddy, But for some reason we still have the "witching hour" at our house ( is that supposed to last all the way up to 2 1/2!), and everyone began falling apart. So we will continue our calls tomorrow.
Also, I can't get this little boy, Tripp, off my mind. One night I spent hours just reading and crying about what this little boy ( and his mommy) have to go through daily.( I don't know this family at all- just stubbled upon their blog while blog stalking:) Pray for this little boy and his mama.

Make sure your kids know you love them
My dad's best friend in whole wide world, Ken, had a son that worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center. He past away ten years ago, on Sept 11th. His parents are incredible people with amazing faith, and a great amount of friends that help and support them.
This article was written about Ken and his sons.
I think on this this day we should take Andy's advice and "put a bear hug" on our kids and tell them we love them.
while you are praying for all the victims of 9/11 today, pray specially for the William's family. I know they would appreciate it. As a mommy I could only imagine that even though it's was 10 and 20 years ago since their sons past away, it's still hard to get out of bed each day.
I'm going to - as we say- squeeze my family's guts out.

We are ready for football.....

We hung our auburn flag( the neighbor has her Alabama flag up-eeww!)

I hung our new auburn cheerleader on the door- so cute!)

Made Emory an auburn shirt!

emory's friend Kate has a bday coming up so had to make a cute shirt too

Couldn't leave Christian out, so I made her this cute flower shirt. Love this appliqué! I'm going to be an aunt (again) soon, and if it's a girl I think she would look adorable in a little daygown with this on it!!)

Papaw's 17th birthday!
While Christian says I'm 84, she says Papaw is 17!

This past weekend, my parents came up onThursday to visit and celebrate my dad's bday. CC and I went to school while Emory got to spend the day swimming with gran and papaw at their hotel.

We spent the weekend swimming, eating, shopping, and getting a mani/pedi.

Gran bought CC some new boots that she loves and wants to wear with everything! she does look pretty cute in them! We went on a hunt for simple Keds but I can't find her size anywhere! So, this weekend I am searching everywhere in Bham since I have been informed by my "rule follower" daughter that she is not allowed to wear shoes that don't cover her toes!

We rode the merry-go-round and, of course, Emory names her horse "diamond diamond"! :):)
We had a fun fun weekend with gran and papaw! Thanks for coming up.
Then, starting Tuesday Emory decided that she was done wearing diapers and has been wearing big girl panties all day, every day! She even goes into the bathroom, gets her stool, puts her potty seat on the toilet, and goes potty "all by myself"! She even goes poo-poo by herself- although I need to teach her to wait for us to wipe or at least get more than one square of toilet paper!!! She will even wake up in the morning dry! Keep it up Emory:):):)
AND I am about to be a second cousin!! My cousin (who is more like my sister) is going to have her baby girl Monday, if not before! I'm beyond excited...only if they didn't live in Texas than I would be there in a heart beat. I'm dying to see/hold this little baby:):)
