Hit the ground running~!

We have hit the ground running with Christmas at our house!

we are wearing our new Christmas PJ's Aunt Paige gave us,

our stockings, past Santa pictures, and nutcrackers are up,

our Nativity scene is set up,

our Christmas tree is up and decorated! We even have some wrapped presents underneath

our name plates are almost ready!
(I had the BEST idea about how Santa will figure out where to put each girls' presents! For some reason I have been stressed out about how to do this! BUT....I came up with this idea to make a directional sign to put up for Santa. I had these made, then Bryan is going to mount them to a post stand and paint it to look like a candy cane! I can't wait to see the finished product. And if any more kiddos are added to our family, we can just add another sign! I'll post pics when it's finished.I feel like I should quit my job and start making these!:))

our advent calendar is up and ready to begin on Wednesday

our table is decorated (and apparently one of our nutcracker is missing an eye!)

snowmen are up,

and the best part.......STEWIE, the elf is here! Christian was so excited to have Stewie back. We told her that Stewie's magic begins again when we read the story. So we read Elf on the Shelf to get things going for the Christmas season. She is so into it...a lot more than last year.

After we read the book, we laid Stewie out (since we can't touch him), so he could go tell Santa that it is time to start watching Christian and Emory's house! Wonder where he'll end up tomorrow morning!?

Thanksgiving and WAR EAGLE!!!

We spent time being making crafts and being silly!

Even Grandaddy joined in!

While we cooked dinner, the big kids entertained Emory!

Great lookin' cousins!

The kids' table!

Each kid made a turkey! This is Emory's hand.

Let's eat!

Then Friday we got ready for the Auburn/Alabama game! It was a house divided, but Gaines tried to please everyone!

The Alabama fans!

Emory's first tailgate experience! She is going to love college tailgating b/c she couldn't get enough of the chicken wings!

Then Auburn won!!! WAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!

And we celebrated like crazy!
We all headed to Mimi and Granddaddy's for Thanksgiving and had the best time ever!
Can you believe it's now Christmas time?! Where did 2010 go?

Thanksgiving feast

my little Indian!

We missed Christian and Gran

Emory and Daddy had some great conversation!

Emory kept looking at her table saying "mine" (her new favorite word- ugh!), so we went over to where her class was sitting to visit. She loves her teachers!

Friday was Christian and Emory's Thanksgiving feast at their school. My parents came up late Thursday night so they could join them in the celebration. All 6 of us were going to go and sit together with CC's class. Well, CC woke up around 2:00 am with a fever and felt horrible. She felt so bad, that she asked to stay home! So Gran stayed with her while Papaw, Daddy, and I went to eat with Emory. Since it was the day of, we couldn't get moved back to eat with Emory's class, so we sat with CC's class to eat. It was a great time eating with my baby girl and meeting more of Christian's friends in her class. Even though CC missed the feast, we brought back all of her crafts from the week, and it made her happy to hear that her friends missed her at school too!

My Gran

My beautiful Gran passed away one year ago today. Isn't she gorgeous? We all think about her daily, tell stories about her whenever we are together, and all miss her terribly.

HAVE YOU EVER.....

seen a CUTER ponytail? or for that matter- a CUTER belly?

She was so excited to show her daddy her new ponytail!

she spilled her drink, so she decide she didn't need a shirt

I can't think of a better way to end a day at work!
She laughed and twirled, laughed and twirled for about a 2 minutes to show daddy her ponytail.

WAR 'CAM" EAGLE!

Before heading to Auburn Saturday morning, we got together with our great friends, the Ashford's, for dinner. They are expecting their fourth baby in 2 weeks!!! They didn't find out what they are having, so we are all SO excited to find out! Either way, it will be beautiful.

Then Saturday, we woke up and headed towards Auburn for the AU/UGA game! We were so excited. My parents met us there to pick up the girls. We went to one of Bryan's client's tailgate first.

Then headed to meet Angela and Stephen who were so nice to give us two tickets to the game! (THANKS SO MUCH!) Angela and I immediately headed to Tiger Walk to see the team walk by.

great picture, huh?!

check out my shirt! I bought it at a gas station on the way down....it's complete with orange and blue rhinestones! I love it!

The guys played corn hole (of course!)

and acted like they were 21 again!

Angela and I posed in front of a huge Auburn RV! How much fun would it be to drive down to every game in this!

The weather was perfect and so were the seats. I, of course, don't care about football at all and don't really understand what is happening. but it is still fun to be in the stadium with 86,000 other Auburn fans!

We had 4th quarter passes to go up to Angela's family's box. We ate, drank, and watched the game in style! It was even more fun to be up there watching Cam Newton and all the other players jump the fence to run into the stands when we won. Almost the entire stadium stuck around for about 30-45 minutes afterwards just celebrating.

Angela's step mom Patsy made these mask for Sophia and Elise. Well, some girl took one of them. When Patsy found out she ran after the girl and made her return it. Angela and I were laughing hysterically!
We had THE BEST TIME in Auburn this weekend! Thanks Angela and Stephen for a fun day! The day couldn't have been any better. Now, I need a weekend to recover!
