hearding cats

fun action shot!
listening to Coach Daddy

Sweet Angela ran w/ CC because she didn't want to.

YAY~!!!!!!!!

This video makes me smile...especially the end where Bryan and CC do a high five! Coach Daddy and Stephan are telling them to get down like frogs. then they throw the balls. The kids have to go find their ball and kick it in the goal. They love it. Watch 2 of the boys who continued to act like frogs!

(Again...this title came from Bryan!)We had the best soccer practice/game this week. Christian was happy to participate (well mostly- I had to tell her that Sophia said she couldn't cry:):). We had a surprise game that we were all worried about. the kids did great- even against the bullies on the other team that kept pushing them. I'm not sure that CC will be the next Soccer champion, but she is getting the hang of it!

beach part 3

I mean.....can you get any cuter than this

I love her!

BFF
We, of course, had a little photo shoot and took well over 600 pics. They turn out so well, and the girls were so good during the whole thing.
Cute story....on the way home CC and I were talking about how much we missed Daddy (he could only stay for the weekend). As soon as Bryan got home, she immediately said "I missed you Daddy." Bryan smiled from ear to ear. Then about 30 minutes later, she looked at him and said "I'm glad you're here Daddy."

beach part 2

we took a little trip to pier park on Tuesday b/c it was somewhat chilly. Perfect day to walk around and shop.
we took an overpriced 2 minute train ride.

found a really cute clothing store w/ bags and clothes 75% off!

there were dolphins jumping...so neat to watch. they weren't too far from where Bryan, Phillip, and Christian were swimming in the ocean.
Emory wasn't too fond of the ocean water. Really, her problem was the heat. Poor thing sweats like her mommy and was dripping.
our set up!
cooling Emory off with ice. She LOVED it!

ready for the pool!
Phillip and CC playing in the pool. She loves her some Phillip!

We ventured down to the beach one day, which takes about 1 1/2 hours to pack up everything we need. Emory had a nice little set up with a swing under a tent. PERFECT!

Beach Part 1

getting 4 children to smile at the same time is down right impossible!
Angel Georgia! She was by far the best model of the night

cute Skipper family

is this why it's called "The Red Bar"- b/c it makes your pictures have a red tint?

Fran and CC (and some strange couple) dancing the night away!

The cutest little donut truck in Alys beach.

you just order your doughnuts from the truck! What a brilliant idea! Why can't I think of something as simple as this!
We have been at the beach for the past week with the Skippers (Jessica and Georgia were there the week before, so they stayed to play a few extra days!). It has been so much fun.
We went to the beach one day, swam in the pool, and walked around seaside and pier park.
This was our last beach trip of 2009...boo:( can't wait 'till next year.

Tailgating with Jesus

My attempt to get a pic with Bryan and the girls

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS! We hadn't seen CC for about 25 minutes b/c she had found a group of girls to play with. Then she come over to us with this tattoo on her face! WHAT IN THE WORLD...damn Alabama fans!!!!!! She loves it though and wouldn't let us take it off at bath time.

Before I begin- Bryan came up with the title!
This morning I was volunteering in the nursery and it was ABSOLUTELY packed with kiddos. So they recruited Bryan to stay and help. Well, for some reason it was really hot in the nursery, which meant that Bryan was miserable. We were in separate rooms, so when he came to get me once we were finished, I thought he had been outside in the rain! He was SOAKING wet- hair and all. There was this one little boy who wouldn't let him sit down or put him down. So Bryan had to stand up holding a 8 month old for an hour! I wish y'all could have seen his face when he came to get me....priceless
Anyway, then tonight we had a tailgating party at our church (supposed to be outside, but anyone from B'ham knows the rain has been nonstop for over a week now). We all had a really fun time! Christian ran around like crazy and even asked to go to bed early tonight!

May the force be with you

CC loves to play with all the boy toys, as you can tell! Although, she did find the one crown they had. I heard Andrew tell her, "That is really my mom's birthday crown, but it's okay if you wear it."
Storm Trooper playing the DS!!!

Happy Bday to you!!!
Saturday was a non-stop day. First baby shower, then I went to Kid's Market. Kids' Market is this HUGE children's consignment sale. I have never seen anything like it. They have anything and everything you can ever think of needing for a baby. Tons of toys, strollers, swings, clothes, shoes,etc....even used undies for kids (ewwww...gross, huh?! I skipped that section!).
After that we ended up going over to the Ashford's to watch the Auburn game (WAR EAGLE!!). We had originally planned to have Supper Club, but the swine flu found Ava and we had to cancel.:(
We had ordered a cookie cake for David already, so we ended up celebrating anyway. We had a great time...and something BIG happened.....Emory decided to roll over! YEP...she got that cute little chunky body to finally roll completely over! (in the video we didn't quite catch it on film, but she did it shortly afterwards. I think she decided to do it b/c she had a such a big cheer section)

Babies Babies Everywhere!

Denise is having baby Kate on the 30th, if not before!

Nancy is due at the beginning of November with baby boy #2
This Friday and Saturday I celebrated 2 babies on their way into the world. Denise is having baby girl number 2 soon. I can't wait to meet this little girl...Ava, Denise's first daughter, is 7 months older than Christan and they are big buds. Now Emory will be 5 months older than baby Kate and I just know they will be just as good of friends. I'm so excited for our girls to grow up together.
Saturday morning, my long time friend from high school, Nancy, came in town to celebrate the arrival of her second boy. I haven't seen Nancy in a while, so it was great to catch up and visit.
I love babies!
