Trick or Treat!

This was CC last year. she still makes this face (and the loud screaming sound) when she is super excited (notice the face in the 3rd pictures):):)
what a cute model!

out of control excited!

2 ladybugs (3 if you count Bryan-hehehe- he put Emory's on his head to be funny and forgot they were there), a mouse, and a kitty cat

We ran into Amy and baby Harris. She was born the same day as Emory and is in the same class as Elise.

This house was decorated boo-tifully (as word Bryan came up with). Their front yard was like a graveyard and they even had lights and sounds set up. This monster scared the you-know-what out of CC, but I really wanted a pictures. We told her to say BOO to him and for some reason she wasn't scared of him anymore. Whatever works!

Check this guy out!! We think it's a dad of a boy on CC's soccer team. We'll find out on Thursday.

My little ladybug did so well until the end when she was letting us know (very loudly) that she was hungry. Luckily we were close to the car!

the trick-or-treaters with their mommas

What a fun day! While Bryan and Stephen went to the Auburn/Ole Miss game (WAR EAGLE!!!), Angela, all 4 of the girls, and I hung out at our house. First, we made a trip to Joann's to buy fabric b/c I was going to show Angela how to make the cute dress and pants. While there the girls were very well behaved to us, but not to one of the workers, Greg. The girls found a pink and white tutus. So they would take them off to show us (I think to try to get us to buy them! )They kept saying "Mommy, this is beautiful!". Then they would put them back where they got it. Well, this really bothered Greg. While Sophia was showing Angela the tutu he came over and yelled at her "Put that back right now" and some other stuff. It scared her to death. The rest of the trip her and CC kept talking about mean man.

Anyway, we then headed back to our house to sew and play. It was such a fun afternoon and the girls actually took a nap with the bribe of going trick-or-treating that night. Once the guys got back we all went trick-or-treating. It was so much fun and the girls were beyond excited about all the candy! CC is already asking when we are going trick or treating tonight.....

Halloween parade

Ms. Celia's class heading in. Bryan and I weren't sure how CC would act since she can be really shy sometimes, but she was eating up the attention and waving to everyone like she was in a pageant!

They showed off what they do everyday in circle time. All the kids were super quiet and wouldn't talk!

Emory enjoyed watching her sister. She was so good during the parade and party.

Look at this face. Whew....we are in for it in her teenage years. I'm not sure why she was making this face b/c she was so excited and in a good mood.

reading their Halloween book they made.

Today was Christian's Halloween parade at her school. All the kiddos were so cute and so proud of their costumes. Afterwards they had a pizza party and showed off all they have learned so far this year. Bryan and I kept looking at each other while they were showing us circle time b/c CC tries to act just like Ms. Celia when she is playing school at home. Now it all makes sense! I loved every second of watching CC with her friends at school. She is so stinkin' cute!

This week!

Bryan was the mystery reader in CC's class! She had no idea and was so excited. We had to call Mimi and Papaw that day to tell them that HER daddy was the mystery reader. He read Pinkalious, her favorite book. She was also VERY excited to have Ms. Celia pick her up to take a picture! She will randomly tell me that she wants Ms. Celia to pick her and me take a picture....ahhh...the little things, huh! (I hate to put a pic of Celia's eye's closed but it's my only pic I took of them together)
See the cute little blond boy with the black shirt on...CC has a little crush on him. Ms. Celia said they are big buds!

Look at Emory sitting in a cart for the first time....HOW CUTE!!

This face makes me think she is saying 'MOM what's the big deal, I'm just sitting in a cart.Do you really need to take a picture?" and I would say to her, "Yes, Emory, I do have to take a picture, so smile.

Emory at Music and Me.

This pic is cute to me....

I have FINALLY found a hobby....sewing. I feel like I need a questionnaire to fill out that ask me what my hobbies are.. I can finally write something other than shopping!!
I made these reversible dresses for the girls (I made pants for CC earlier and had fabric left).

They even have buttons!!!!
( I promise I fix CC's hair better than this...it must have been a fun day at school!)

This is the reversible side of the dress.
It's been a fun week. I can't believe how fast time is going. In our Mama & Me Bible study I did a little devotional on slowing down and enjoying our little ones- and I'm finding it harder and harder to do that- life just doesn't slow down does it?! I'm trying my hardest since I have some time off to be a mommy. Can you believe that tomorrow Emory will be 6 months?! I sure can't!

Busy Busy

I went wedding dress shopping with Shanna. She looked good in every dress she tried on, but the one she picked is beautiful (this is not THE one, but still very pretty on)
Saturday, I spent the morning at the church making 950 chicken salad sandwiches for our Celebration Sunday luncheon. I forgot my camera at the actual luncheon, but everything turned out really nice (and the sandwiches were good- I thought I would never eat another chicken salad sandwich again after making so many!)

After making sandwiches we ran to get CC's hair cut.

At sweet 'n sassy you can get glitter in your hair and on your face after your haircut...CC is showing off her new haircut and glittery face.
We went to Davenports with the Anderson's and Burks' before heading to Boo at the Zoo on Saturday. This is sweet John Patrick. He is the cutest little boy.

heading to the zoo with my little lady bugs!

Cooper was Nemo....cutest costume! Can you tell CC is excited

It's hard to get 3 kids to look and smile at the same time..Still a cute pic though

Cooper kept shaking his tail and it was the funniest thing. Wish I caught it on camera, but my battery died.

While in the kitchen I looked out the window and saw this little creature on our deck. EWWW

Conversation with Christian

her Christmas outfit I made!
Bryan said she is not allowed to have another pair of pants with ruffles. I told him you can NEVER have too many ruffle pants!

Her bow doesn't match- I know...this was just her first fitting!
While at a stop light the other day, Christian looked at the car wash down at the gas station and said., " Mom, let's go in the dishwasher"
(If you know me well, I will NOT go in the dishwasher/carwash...EVER....HATE them......)

BIG weekend AND a BIG loss

*****WARNING.....A LOT OF PICTURES**************
Our tent sign!!!
my dad letting it be known that he is a Kentucky fan

The Congleton's and Skipper's back in Auburn!!

great pic of my mom and CC

even my cousin, Katelyn, made it down from Lexington to watch the game. It was fun to see her in Auburn.

CC, Andi, and Alex taking a break from playing!

Sophia and CC! The second we parked the car CC started screaming "Sophia, where are you? I can't see you" I might have to stop telling her that we are going to see Sophia b/c she becomes obsessed, but they are SOOOO cute together

We took Sophia and CC to the tiger walk. It was the first time I've been....fun!

cute pic!

Coach Chizik

We had to get a pic with the biggest Auburn fan around!

notice where our seats were.....the top row was Row 63....our seats were in Row 61

I LOVE AUBURN!!!!!
Sunday, my aunt, March, and I spent the day sewing. She showed me a much easier, faster way to make these cute pants and we made a cute Christmas dress for CC. I'll put pics up once I make the pants to match.
This weekend we headed to Auburn for the game. We got a tent from the tailgate guys- they are BRILLIANT!! They set up everything for you- you just show up and tailgate. They will even cater and you can rent TVs too! It was so much fun to be in Auburn again. It has changed so much. Even though we lost to Kentucky (the first time since 1966- my dad was one happy camper!) and it was SUPER cold, we had the best time. My cousin, Courtney, and aunt March kept Emory all day- thanks so much! She had the best time (once you fed her!!!:):):)
