Tonight's going to be GOOD night!

Ms. Luella was a wonderful friend to my Gran since they were younger, and they ended up living in the same assistant living place.

Noelle, Kathryn, Laura, Courtney, Jessica (having a baby in 9 days!!), Eleanor, Teresa, Me
All the bridesmaids.
getting our mani/pedi before the wedding (notice the green polish in the bottom corner- that went on her toes. We compromised and had light pink on her nails)

so cute....at the rehearsal

practicing for the big day.

doesn't she look beautiful~!

gorgeous dress and hair

Jason waiting to see Courtney for the first time

The wedding party

CC was the BEST flower girl EVER (even though her dress came unbutton during the wedding!)

My cousin, Courtney, got married this weekend. Everything was ABSOLUTELY perfect- starting with the bridesmaid luncheon, to the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and the fun party afterwards! Courtney looked gorgeous and was so happy. Christian was the flower girl and took her job very seriously. She walked perfectly down the aisle and made sure ALL of her flowers were dumped from her basket. Even with all three of the pearl buttons coming unbutton while standing in front of each other, she was quiet and still (for the most part). I AM so proud of her.
It was the best weekend ever. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Spaeder!

Christmas program night!

CC and Sully in their Sunday best.
Hey mama and daddy! (she walked down the aisle waving to everyone!)

little lambs.
Tonight, CC had her first Christmas program. I'm not sure who was more excited- me or her! She was just the cutest thing ever. I don't think she sang on cue with any of the songs, but as you can hear, not many of them did! I love being a mom, so I get to do things like this with my own kiddos! It's so fun watching them get excited b/c we are watching them do something they have learned in school....I just love it! To celebrate, we went out for pizza (and we were quickly reminded how NOT fun it can be w/ a 7 month old!!!).

And how cute is this....on the way out from the church Bryan heard a little boy say, "Hey mom, it's Christian. That's the girl I love."

Check her out in her musical debut....Christian Congleton!

Shower the people you love with love!

Joey, Sarah, Me

My very best friend from high school, Sarah, is having a baby in March. Her shower was Saturday morning. I was SO happy I was in town to celebrate with her. Even though I could only stay a short time it was still fun to see everyone.

Don't you just want to snuggle up in this bed!

They had cranberries in the fountain....it looked beautiful

The bachelorette!

After our wine tasting and dinner.

Courtney's engagement ring.... nice, huh! (actually CC picked out this necklace for Courtney)

Finally went to an Ikea.....LOVED it!

This weekend was a fast and busy one. The girls and I headed to Columbus Friday night while Bryan went duck hunting. This weekend worked out perfect b/c I was able to go to Sarah's baby shower and Courtney's bachelorette party. Although I only stayed for an hour to the shower, it was SO great to see some of my high school friends. IT made me miss them....hopefully we can get together the next time I am in town.

Then we headed to Chateau Elan for my cousin's bachelorette party. Chateau Elan is my new favorite place and if anyone is up for a girls weekend- count me it!!!! Everything is beautiful and they have everything on the property so you don't have to leave. First we had a lingerie shower then headed to a wine tasting with dinner afterwards. Then walked to an irish pub where we a man and women band were playing....so fun! We didn't get a chance to do the spa, but on my next trip I will!!!! Anyone want to go????!!!!!

Then to top off a fun night, we went to IKEA on the way home. It was HUGE and had everything...even childcare!!

In the gifted program

We have had a big day today- Emory and me. While Christian was at school, we played and talked the day away! She is growing up so fast and just like Bryan, will be in the gifted program- I'm sure of it!!!!!

Stewie

She was beyond excited. The only rule for Stewie is that you can't touch him, so Christian as close to his face as possible and started talking to him:
"Stewie, I want a Barbie. Okay Stewie. A Snow White Barbie. Okay Stewie."
This is where we found him the first day.

Silly Stewie.

How Emory was most of the time...couldn't figure this man out.

This time Christian told Santa she wanted a Barbie and a pink bear

This Santa was awesome (Brookwood Mall). He spent a lot of time talking to Christian and Emory individually. And there was NO line, which made it even better.

So, we added another tradition to Christmas....the Elf on the Shelf. I bought the book a year or two ago, but this is the first year we have used it. Christian named him Stewie (since it was a boy, we knew she would try to name him Sully after her friend at school. But finally came to this one after going through many names that started with S). It is really fun to see where Stewie landed in our house after his trip to the North Pole. He is one CRAZY elf and CC loves him.

We also took the girls to see Santa last night. We tried to hurry to get there right when he arrived so we wouldn't have to stand in a long line. To our surprise, there was NO line at all. So we had a nice long visit with Santa and the picture taker let us take and retake pics until we got a good one.

This Christmas is going to be so fun b/c CC is so into it and we have two great children to celebrate with!
