Nine Months

Emory had her 9 month well baby appointment. She weighs 21 pounds, 4 ounces (90 percentile) and is 29 1/4 inches long (95 percentile). At 9 months CC was 21 lbs, 7 oz and 30 inches longs, so they are close in height and weight.
She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. She is constantly trying to get into her sister's toys and driving CC crazy! She is eating stage 3 baby food and the doctor said to start feeding her more table food. She has 3 8-oz bottles a day, takes 2 naps a day and sleeps from 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 am. She is 'talking' up a storm, answers to her name. If we ask "where's dada, mama, or Christian?", she looks at the correct person. She can hold her own sippy cup but refuses to hold her own bottle (she's no dummy....she knows we'll do it for her:):) The doctor asked if she responds when we say "No". I told him yes, but she doesn't always listen:):)...following in her sister's footsteps. She is truly the happiest baby we have ever met....and the cutest if anyone is asking!!
All in all......she's perfect. But we all know that, right!?

girly girls

Happy Emory!
Check out this fancy Jasmine outfit with shoes!

Ava and baby Kate, Claire (her baby sister will be born in April), Sophia and baby Elise, and Christian and baby Emory. Does it look like Emory could crush Christian!?

right before the dance party started!

Stephen throwing CC around!!! Just kidding- she loved it:):)

And here is just a little bit of the dance show we got from the girls. .

Friday night, we had Mama & Me- Mom's night out at my house while CC and Daddy went to dinner and a movie. Even though the weather was horrible, we had a wonderful time relaxing and talking! One funny thing- after the movie, Bryan drove by and saw that everyone was still here, so they drove around (I told him to come home after the movie, but he didn't want to come in with all the 'ladies' here!. So anyway, after awhile CC came up with a plan:

CC: "Daddy, you stay in the car and I will go inside and say 'Wadies, you need to GO HOME'. then I come get you and you come inside."

Ahhhh.....my sweet, shy child! Needless to say- Bryan decided to drive around for a while longer. No need to create a scene! Mamas....I promise- she's a sweet little angel and would have loved to sit around with everyone until the wee hours of the morning!:):):)

Saturday night we headed over to the Meacham's for dinner. There were 4 girls all CC's age and their sisters. So needless to say- the princess dresses were on before we even put our bags down. The girls had the best time EVER- even giving us a dance show towards the end of the night (complete with CC watching a Beyonce video and attempting to do all of her moves. We could not stop laughing!) We all had the best time. Christian is still talking about the great princess dresses that Sophia has and hasn't let go of the lip gloss that Sophia gave her! Thanks for having us over Meacham family. Let's do it again soon!

Another funny conversation with CC:(picture it....right after waking up, first thing in the morning- Bryan and CC cuddling while watching cartoons)

CC: "Ummm..Daddy- I need to sit with mommy. your breath does not smell good"

This week

CC had class picture day at school. doesn't she look cute?! This will be her first class picture...I'm so excited to see it.
Fran and Lucy came in town! YAY! It was a fun time getting the girls to play together and getting to see Fran. I have to tell this.....Lucy was holding the ROBERT PATTINSON book in her hand when I opened the door. Well.....a while later Fran commented on my UGGS that were out. "Mallory, you know, Robert doesn't like Uggs!"...Good to know Fran. When we meet I'll be sure to wear a different pair of shoes. So, I spent the night reading up on my Rob and the very last sentence of the book is "Robert does not like UGGS!!!!" FRAN- YOU READ THE WHOLE BOOK TOO!!!!! I LOVE IT! hehehe...sorry Fran...I don't know why I thought it was so funny :):) love ya and glad you came in town. I miss ya

we headed to the library for story time but it was canceled. So the girls just played instead...everything was a perfect size for them. Bryan and I took CC and Emory back on Saturday. CC played on the computer and checked out her first books and even got two videos to watch.
I thought this picture was funny of Emory and Haley "talking' to each other.

Haley, Emory, Georgia, and Lucy
They all thought they were such big girls standing up playing with the toys.

I picked CC up early from school to head to the park since it was such a pretty day outside- makes me ready for spring. She insisted on getting in this swing....her feet were dragging on the ground!

Her friend from school, Lydia, came to play with CC. they had the best time with each other.
Christian keeps telling me that she is going to Lydia's house or Katie's house to play. One day she told me that Lydia was going to tell her mommy and Katie was going to tell her mommy so they can play together. While I was talking to Lydia's mommy, she told me that Lydia tells her the same thing.

I love this little girl!

fueling the fire

so first things first....my BFF, Fran, called me Friday and told me she got me a gift! Gifts are always fun- and this one is GREAT! She knows (and has heard me talk about him too many times) that I am currently having a crush on Robert Pattinson:):). So, she was at a book store that was going out of business and GOT ME A ROBERT PATTINSON BOOK!! I knew we were friends for a reason! Makes me want to start singing "That's what friends are for..."
Thanks Franny! Can't wait to see you, Lucy (and Robert) on Tuesday...hehehe
We had dinner with the neighbors last night and of course, the girls turned into princesses within 5 minutes of being there!

Emory and Sophie are 2 months apart (Sophie and CC share a June 30th bday!) They were cute together- grabbing at each other and shrieking

Brooke made heart cookies and they decorated them....so creative (and brave!)

Daddy and daughters.
And.......this morning we all slept until 8:15 am! Ahhhhh....

just like home!

CC and Sophia.....not sure what they are doing!

Great friends! It was so good to see Cooper. I used to see him everyday last year, and he has gotten so big! I miss that little guy!

Look at big girl Emory holding her cup!

gotta love baby Kate!

We are slowly learning that these girls could play together anywhere! While at the zoo, they played doctor, hair cut, and jail...did not care AT ALL about the zoo. Poor little Cooper looked at his mom at one point and said "I WANT TO SEE THE ZOO!" I don't blame him, but he is going to be a great husband one day- very patient with all the girls around him!

This is how CC spent most of the day. Poor girl can't keep her pants up- wish I had that problem. (I know she is going to kill me for this one day, but I couldn't resist!)
We FINALLY had a pretty day here, so we headed to the zoo with friends. We spent 4 hours there and saw maybe 3 animals! Between the babies, Christian running away from me, and the girls playing doctor on the bench, we didn't move too much while at zoo. It felt like we would walk for a few minutes then stop for 15 minutes- move a little bit and stop for 15 minutes! Regardless, it was fun (and the girls took GREAT, LONG naps!!!)
