Our Weekend

Friday night, I went to dinner with the mamas from our Mama & Me group. It was fun and I took some great pictures. BUT.............. I erased them from my camera....UGH! (I am so sorry girls!)
Saturday morning, we had Emory's one year pictures taken! CAN YOU BELIEVE that Emory will be one year old in 19 days?!!! Where has the time gone?!
Stephanie Fisher (her blog has a few more 'sneak peek' pictures) has taken Emory's pictures throughout her first year and I couldn't have been happier with ALL of the pictures she has taken. Saturday night, we had an impromptu supper club at our house. It was a great time, although we missed Maretta and the Joyners.
All babies born in 2009 were celebrated today at our church- close to 80 babies!!! We had a group picture taken, then we showed off our little ones to the congregation. (We tried to get CC to stay, but she wanted to go to her Sunday School class.)

Our friends from our Sunday School were there as well. Ginny's mom was nice enough to take pictures while we were up front.
We then had a luncheon with all the families. It was such a great morning.

Then we napped and spent the day outside.

This has been the best present EVER!

Sophia and Angela came over for a little while to play. Fun day outside!

While cleaning the kitchen, the broom fell. Emory crawled right over and began helping me.....

Daddy Derby Day

how cute is her car! If I were a judge of a contest for the cars, CC would have definitely won!

her friends, Sully and Lydia

during the race

I actually made it in a picture!
Mrs. Sharron and Emory. Mrs. Sharron babysits for us and will be in Emory's class sometimes next year

Picnic time! I made us Chick-Fil-A

Ben and CC
Christian in action

What a fun day! Today was 'Daddy Derby Day' at CC's school. They made a car out of a computer box fora parade and race. Bryan and Christian put a lot of time and effort into making their car as pink as it can get with Fancy Nancy as the inspiration. (but this did give us a glimpse into who will be doing most of the work on school projects:):):). CC was BEYOND excited. When Bryan walked in the door with her car I thought she was going to jump out of her skin she was so excited. All the cars were so cute and creative. After the race, everyone had a picnic on the playground. It was so much fun! At one point, CC looked up at Bryan and said, " Daddy, I'm having fun with you today"HOW SWEET!

Today

Emory was eating at banana with dinner. Her chair was close to the table, so she decided to grab the entire banana and sucked on it....no choking involved!
there was no getting it away from her!

at the risk of sounding absolutely CRAZY, I had to show you this. As you know from the post below, the Easter Bunny knew of Bryan's (my) love of the Twilight books/movies. Well, this afternoon, I was checking out at Walmart. When I opened my wallet this is what I found! I was laughing like crazy and a tad embarrassed! My hubby is funny!

We got Christian's dance pictures back. If you are family, you will be receiving a picture b/c the smallest package to order had about 20 pictures in it.

The group shot.....a very funny experience trying to get a group of 3/4 year olds to look and smile at the same time.

Emory still going at the banana!

Here is Christian dancing outside. She didn't know that we were videoing her. I was inside, so you can't hear but she is singing 'Party in the USA" at the top of her lungs!

Easter 2010

The Easter bunny came to visit
He brought CC a spongebob movie (ugh.....but she loves it!) and roller skates. I'm excited to see if she enjoys roller skating.

Emory kissing her new miniature baby doll

Look at what the Easter Bunny brought Bryan!!!!!!!!!!!!

We took Easter pictures after church (my camera was accidentally on a different setting that made the pics turn out in sepia)

we have the same picture of Christian in her Easter basket! Emory loved it and would have sat like this all day :)

my beautiful little girls!

We had a wonderful Easter morning. We actually all 6 got ready, looked through our Easter baskets, had breakfast, and were out the door by 7:45 for early church- WHEW! The service was great and Christian was perfect the whole time. Then pictures, brunch, and naps.....another perfect day. I don't want the weekend to end. Happy Easter to all!

It doesn't get any better

This is Emory's "I-need-to-go-to-bed-or-I-am- going-to-have-a-meltdown" face....still a cute pic!

Papaw, CC, and Gran out to dinner Saturday night.

My parents came in town for Easter. After they got here, CC, my mom, and I headed to get a mani/pedi. Christian picked a gorgeous hot blue color for her nails :):)and hot pink for her feet. Then met Daddy, Papaw, and Emory for a relaxing lunch at Diplomat Deli- YUMMY! After a little shopping and naps, we went to dinner. It was a fun, relaxing day.....doesn't get any better than that!

Good Friday

We spent the ENTIRE day outside today as a family-planting flowers, swinging, jumping in our new (early bday present for both girls)bounce house, and having a picnics. It was the best day we have had in a long time!

Good Thursday

Emory loved being with all the 'big' kids. she always gets a ton of attention!

This little girl in CC's class LOVES LOVES LOVES Emory!
All the kids call Emory 'Baby'. One of the little girls came over to me with a very serious voice and asked "Is her name really Baby?"

We have a new coach this year for soccer- a 16 year old girl who plays soccer and is great with the kids. Christian does so much better this season! There were still a few tears b/c 'they wouldn't give her the ball', but she quickly got over it!

Elise and Emory played 'take-each-others-pacifier-and-lovey' all night

I LOVE this spring weather
What a fun Thursday! Christian's class had an Easter Egg Hunt and Party then soccer at night. It's been great weather here and we've had a fun time playing outside.
I am so proud of CC and her soccer skills! She is really good. During the fall season, I was worried that she was going to have my athletic ability which is non-existent. But after watching her play last night, I think she might have gotten Bryan's athleticism- whew! Now we just need to work on her dancing ability (and it doesn't matter who she got that from b/c she will need a lot of help!!)
