Quick trip to the beach

These 3 girls had the time of their lives. Don't they look cute in their matching outfits?! Denise had outfits made for all the girls.
This is in the ONLY picture I have of Emory not crying.

But it somehow still looks cute!

After our mini photo shoot, we packed up the ENTIRE house and moved to the beach. With 6 kids we needed A LOT to function for the day on the beach. We set up on camp underneath the Sea 'N Suds pier and spent the whole day on the beach. The girls rode in the boat (Ava only for a second. Right when they got in the boat, Ava looked at Bryan and said "I'm not having fun!" I don't blame her- it was kinda rough. Both CC and Sophia fell out of the boat at one point). The little ones napped or played in the pack 'n play (yes....we took a pack 'n play to the beach-hehehe!). We even had a little shark scare. While a group of us were in the water, we saw others running out and motioning to us to get out of the water. Someone saw a shark about 75 yards out.....who knows if it was, but I didn't get back in!!! We also had a few campus crusade guys come up to us for a 30 minute conversation.

Ahhhhhh!!!

Saturday was our 6th wedding anniversary!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?
We went to dinner at The HANGOUT and they called us on the table to have a little dance!

Have you ever been to The Hangout? It really is a fun place. Games, shopping, music, dancing while eating, etc....we were all having a blast.

Happy anniversary Bryan- I love ya to death!

Gosh we had fun....love these girls! and our little ones play so well together. hope we do this for the rest of our lives (maybe bringing a babysitter next time!!:):)

99 girls and 3 boys!!!

This weekend we headed down to Gulf Shores to play with our friends. We were only there for a day and a half, but crammed a lot into a short amount of time. It was so much fun! CC is even talking in her sleep about her friends. The second we walked in the door she asked if Sophia and Ava could come over and play! Can't wait to do it again!

VBS- GALACTIC BLAST!

We had 4 youth helpers that were absolutely the best!

CC during the performance

CC and Emory were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to see their Daddy! Emory was in the nursery, so when he went by to pick her up, she was running and giggling like crazy! And when he walked in to see Christian after the program, she went nuts screaming "THAT'S MY DADDY!!!"

Christian and I had VBS this week at our church. I was teaching CC's class along with another teacher, and I was a bit nervous about how it would go w/ us being in the same class. It only took her one day to realize that there were four 5th graders that were WAY cooler than her mama! It really was the best time but absolutely exhausting! We all three came home and napped afterwards. It was fun to see how CC is in the classroom and with other children....and I have to say- I'm a pretty proud mom! She is so sweet and caring to all her friends (although I have learned that she always wants to be the line leader!). I'm going to miss all the little kiddos we worked with this week....funny how attached you become to little ones in such a short amount of time. Can't wait to teach next summer, and the next, and the next......

VBS

I am teaching VBS at our church this week. Today was the first day and we had a blast......a GALACTIC BLAST to be exact. But 13 three and four years can wear you out. Emory, CC, and I came home and crashed this afternoon.

Beach Trip- Part 4- Beach Pictures

( I wish the random lady who took this picture would have told me to fix Emory's hair)
how cute are these outfits and my little girls!?

Beach Trip- Part 3- Baytowne Wharf

Mardi Gras Thursday- face painting, dancing, bounce houses, parade, and fireworks, SO MUCH FUN!

Our great friends were back from Hong Kong for the summer, so we met them at Baytowne to have dinner and drinks. They have such a exciting interesting life over there, so we there was a lot to catch up on.

okay- this was not a Baytowne, but a restaurant we went to one night. This lady was name Giggles and she did face painting and balloons. Well, I think while she was not being Giggles, she spent most of her day at the bar smoking 2 packs a day! You should have heard her laugh (Bryan said she sounded like Marge Simpson's sister. I have no idea, but he said she sounds just like her). It was funny (and gross!)

The Coconut Band was there last year. They have a box of instruments that the kids can use and get on stage. They play great music and they kids love it. So we made sure to go back this year for CC and Emory to dance the night away

she love the trampoline!

My aunt Pat and uncle Paul
We spent 3 nights at Baytowne Wharf. There is so much to do there for kids and great restaurants. the first night we got to the beach, we headed there so the girls could listen to the Coconut Band. The second night we went it was just Bryan and me. We met Heather and Blair . The third night, my parents, Di, Pat, and Paul went to a nice dinner while Bryan and I took the girls to the Mardi Gras night. My parents met us later to party!

Beach Trip Part 2- Birthday Dinner

My mom got me a Edward doll. CC and I were super excited!

While down at the beach we had a birthday party for my aunt Pat (July 22) and me (July 17- the big 3-1)!!!!. We had a low country boil, hats, banners, cake, and presents. YUMMY!!!!!!
Thanks mom and Bryan for putting it all together and making our bday special.

Beach Trip Part 1

We have spent this past week at the beach and HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES! A few of my family from Kentucky flew in and all 7 of us piled into our car to head down to Sea Grove to meet my parents for the week. The weather was perfect and only a few tar balls were seen. We're back and tan as ever! More pics to come.
