Thanksgiving

We headed to Gran and PawPaw's for Thanksgiving this year. Courtney made a last minute decision to come home with her new baby Allie, which made us even more excited to go home!!

Allie is the third cutest baby girl I have ever laid eyes on!! She is such a sweet little baby and so alert!

all the cousins!

Emory loved "baby Allie"! She wanted to hold her, but then would say "get this baby off of me!"

Baby Allie and her mama

Since Bryan and Courtney were DYING to see Breaking Dawn, I went with them again (yeah right- I made them go with me and they laughed throughout the whole movie- absolutely no appreciation for a well written book and movie!!!). While there, I married Edward- Bryan was the wedding photographer

Friday we played outside since it was so pretty out.

we need to get Emory her own helmet

pretty girl

Then we went to Fantasy in Lights at Calloway Gardens.

It was great- I think the girls liked looking through the sun roof the best!

It was a perfect Thanksgiving!

Headed to The Plains- a BUST

Bryan and I were so excited to take both girls to the Auburn Homecoming game! It was Emory's first time to Auburn and we couldn't wait for both girls to be there.

We went to Tiger Rags to buy some auburn gear, then took some pics

They were so excited to finally be there. Aren't CC's boots cute?! college girls kept commenting on them and she loved it:):):)

We knew the game was right at E's nap time, but we were hoping she would stay awake.

Two minutes before the game started Emory said she wanted to go home for nap time!

Christian took a ton of pictures with her "phone"!

Then this happened.....this picture sums up our exciting trip to Auburn!!!! Emory sleeping on Bryan and Christian crying the entire time saying "we never do anything fun. This is just a football game and it's not fun". we ended up leave before the first quarter was over with Bryan and I furious, Emory sleeping on our shoulders, and CC crying....... bryan kept telling CC it was not about a football game but about being in Auburn!!! she didn't get it and we obviously built up our day to the best ever. when all it was was a game for them!! One day they will understand, hopefully!!!

we spent more time on the road to and from Auburn then actually IN Auburn:(:(:( We did make it by the Toomer's corner trees.

And got lemonade at Toomer's drugstore.

And walked around for a bit. On the way home, we finally got over being mad and realized we made it seem like we were going to do some fantastic thing and football is not fun for them - oh well! Maybe next year!!! hopefully!!!!
When we got home, I asked Emory if she had fun...her answer "NO"!!!! then we laid in bed and watched a movie and played together. then she said "I having fun"... We should have saved our money and laid in bed all day:):):):)

private

I have decided, for different reasons, to make my blog private.

I'm not sure how to do it exactly, but from now on I will have to enter your email address to give you access to read it (all 4 of you that do read:):). So, please let me know if you want me to give you access! I want everyone to keep reading, so let me know!!!

Baton Rouge

Bryan and I headed to Louisiana to visit our best friends, Fran and Phillip, and their two precious kiddos, Lucy and brand new Reynolds. Our girlies got to stay home and be spoiled by Gran and Pawpaw!

(can't get the picture to rotate). Reynolds did a lot of this! He is so stinkin' cute and such a good baby.

Isn't he cute!!! (Phillip- I'm talking about the baby:):):):):)

Lucy is so cute and funny! We just loved her:) She'll keep ya on your toes and is full of energy! And the girl loves to cuddle and hug! I need to get her to talk to my two!

Lucy loved playing with Mr. Bryan!

during the day, Fran and I did a little shopping and had lunch while the Daddies kept the kids. Then they got a babysitter (actually twin girls that go to LSU and do everything together, including babysitting- nice huh!), while we went to dinner and drinks overlooking the river.

Dinner was a local restaurant that was a hole in the wall, but the food was AMAZING! We ate so much and laughed a lot telling college stories!! Then we went to a roof top bar and had local beer, Tin Roof- very good!

I miss my friend already! Too short of a trip:(:(:( Can't wait until next time we are together.

This girl

is so funny!

My parents are in town and brought their dog (really OUR dog, but she now lives with them:)), Hampton. Bryan was trying to get Hampton to go outside and kept saying, "come on Hampton, let's go outside". About the third time he said it, Emory looked at him and said "Daddy, Hampton not talk!". HA!!!

School pictures

Christian and I had our picture taken together on picture day...the only year I'll ever be able to do it! FUN!!!! I'm a proud mama. I love hugging her throughout the day and taking pictures together:)
You know what else makes me proud (and VERY happy)- we just lined up a maid to start coming!! One little thing to make life a tad easier:):)

My bumble bees

I found pictures of when CC wore the bumble bee costume when she was 2.

They look completely different don't you think? But equally as beautiful! I think the shoes on the wrong feet that Emory refused to change does add a bit more to her costume though---stubborn little thing:):):)

For some reason, I feel like Emory looks so much older than CC did. She is only 2 months older than CC was when she wore the bee costume. Two of the cutest little bumble bees ever!

Okay- just showed Bryan these pictures before I posted it. And he thinks you can barely tell them apart? What do you think? (the first 2 are Christian and the last 2 are Emory, for those who agree with Bryan and think they look alike)
