Emory's day

Pajama day at school

Celebrating Kwanza!!!

The girls Ready for ballet. The teachers used to have to wake the girls up early from nap for ballet. They have now changed he time to earlier in the day since they had had so many sleepy, grumpy children! Notice the main one who was affected by the wake up:):):) and the little one third from the left is still asleep sitting up:)
I'm so glad because every Wednesday night, Emory was a monster and said she didn't like dance- "they wake me up and I cry!"

I love her school and her teachers!!!

Santa visit

How cute does did their Santa picture turn out! We successfully took back CC's letter and Emory chickened out on telling Santa what she wanted! She gets so shy:):)
Christian just finished telling me that santa lives in the North pole and asking me why Santa is here in Alabama. Bryan had to hold back from laughing as he watched me stubble over my words making something up!!!

Christmas wish list

We are going tomorrow morning to see Santa. Before bed, I asked Emory what she was going to tell Santa wanted for christmas. Her response:

"peaches and jelly"

WHAT IN THE WORLD!!! I'm telling you- this girl is honestly funny!

Christian has written her note, asking for:
-Alabama and Auburn cheer leading outfit
-Justin Beiber doll
- American girl doll
- hello kitty stuff
I am going to be ready to secretly snatch the letter back from Santa this year. Instead of standing in shock when Santa folds up the letter and shoves it under something like last year!!

Update on Silly Stewie

Okay....here's what happened. Christian woke up early, around 5:30, to see where Stewie was ( this has become the norm lately- waking up early wondering where he is). I had been up for a while and was trying to talk Bryan, who was still half asleep, to put lipstick on his face too. He was grumpy (rightfully so- he WAS still asleep while I was having this convo!!) and said 'NO'. Anyway, good thing he did because when CC came out of the room there was NOTHING on her face!!!! It must of rubbed off in the night. So, I made her go back to bed telling her it was too early to wake up and Bryan and I were rushing around to throw away the "look in the mirror" note and figure something out!!! So it pretty much backfired and now the girls have lipstick all over their pillowcases! Just reminded me why we just move our Elf and don't really do silly things with him---way to stressful:):):
Emory did however have a tiny meltdown because Stewie had lipstick on his face and she didn't like it.
Oh well....maybe next time:):):)

Silly Stewie

Tonight when we were going to bed, bryan snuck Christian a piece of chocolate. She told Bryan that sometime Stewie does silly stuff too! Normally our Stewie just moves from place to place, and occasionally throws toilet paper around the bathroom. But Bryan did some Internet research on crazy things elves do, and this is what he decided on. We put lipstick on the girls faces while they were asleep with this note! It can go one of two ways- the girls think it the funniest thing in the world or we'll be late for school/work because we are dealing with some MAJOR drama/meltdowns!
We'll keep you updated on how it goes:):):)

Belsnickle (early) weekend

we had a fun busy weekend. Friday night we had our Sunday School Christmas dinner- with babysitters and a fun dinner with ALL adults. It was really fun. On our way home from the party we realized we left Emory's Pink ishy. she has gotten so attached to THE pinky ishy and only THE pink ishy. So we knew it was going to be a drama filled night getting her to go to sleep. Luckily, it was late and she was too tired to have a meltdown.

So anyway, Santa's brother, Belsnickle (we pronounce it bensnickle- its a German version of santa Claus that we have always celebrated in my family. He comes on December 6th) decided to come a few days early because he got her a new pink ishy and it would help get her through the weekend:):):) AND he got the girls some new pink bows that he really wanted them to wear soon!! (Bensnickle and I think a lot alike:):):)

He also got them Stompeez slippers that they LOVE.

Then I did some major Christmas shopping. 2 1/2 hours at Target and I got most of my Christmas shopping finished! Only a few more amazon purchases and that's it-YaY.
then Christian had a friend over to play. Her 3k teacher moved down the street and has a daughter CC's age. They played for hours and were perfect.

then after church and naps, the girls and I went to make some Christmas gifts. CC would have painted every.single.piece of pottery in the place! We stayed for 2 1/2 hours and had such a fun time. Christian is super excited about her gifts and took her painting very seriously.

even Emory last for the full 2 1/2 hours without complaining! Only an occasional "let's go bye bye":):)
