Epcot

We slept in a little and headed to Epcot around 10:00 on Wednesday. As soon as we got on the shuttle it started pouring down rain.
Luckily, I brought ponchos with me (out of fear that I might have to wear a trash bag like my dad would make us do when I was little!!!) Christian was miserable and hated EVERY.SINGLE.SECOND of the poncho wearing. She was so embarrassed and wanted to go back home- NOPE!

Luckily it only rained a short amount of time! We got to meet more characters. The girls loved how Pluto signed their book on his nose:)

Bryan getting onto me for using flash photography during the Nemo ride- ha!
The left is CC when she was four in front of Nemo. The right is her at seven! A little different, but just as cute

Emory at four

We had a fast past for Soarin' so we visited a few countries. They LOVED the phone booths and wanted to play forever in them. And they didn't really understand what a pay phone was!!
Soarin' was awesome- still my favorite ride at Epcot.

Bryan catching a ride for a few minutes.

We went to the Turtle Talk with Crush and they called on CC to speak to Crush. She is really good at talking turtle... Duuuuude

We met Alice. EMory wanted to know where the cat was. She told us the Cheshire cat often made him invisible but would show himself throughout the park and we should be on the lookout for him in trees and bushes.

So Emory took us on a hunt throughout the park for the cheshire cat! Here she is looking in the flowers.
It was a fun day and a little more low key, which was perfect after the busy day we had before. We got home around 9:00 and all crashed.

Then at about 2:00 am the fire alarm went off- UGH! Bryan jumped out of bed yelling for us to put on our tennis shoes, not flip flops (Thanks Mimi for training him well!!). And to make things even more exciting, it started to rain!!!
Bed head Bryan in his "I LOVE MALLORY" shirt! Wonder if people were wondering who Mallory was!
Finally got to go back to our room around 3:00- never heard what the problem was.

Delirious but still going

So, we decided to stay the entire day at Magic Kingdom- 15 hours total with one tiny nap from Emory!
The last time we were there and stayed for the parade/fireworks, we didn't realize that people started marking their spots hours before the parade started. So this time, we got there at 7:00 for the 9:00 parade (and people were already there before us!!). The girls were having the best time running around, dancing in the street (and we enjoyed sitting- ha!). We were all delirious by this point and here are the pictures to prove it!

Seriously, the second the parade started Emory said she needed to use the bathroom! Too bad!

Everytime I looked over and asked her what she thought of the parade, her response was "Umm, I think I need to use the bathroom"
We finally made it (barely) after the parade and had to push our way back to Daddy and CC.
Made it home at 11:45 pm. Straight to bed for another early day!

Emory's silly dance moves to keep herself awake.....

Tea Cups

I'm devoting an entire post to the Tea Cups....too many cute pictures!

This was their favorite ride, can you tell??!!!!!

Disney Day 1

We had one more surprise left, so we had to wake up SUPER early again to catch the 8:00 am shuttle.
CC was back and forth with wearing a princess dress, but she decided to wear regular clothes and take a dress with us. She never wore one and knew the princesses were just girls dressed up. I am so happy she went at the height of her princess obsession when she lived in her princess dresses and thought they were real- just like Emory this time. She still loved every part of it though.

We rode the ferry over to Magic Kingdom. Our first stop was breakfast with the princesses in Cinderella's castle!!!

It was super packed to get in but we got to bypass all the lines b/c we had 9:00 breakfast reservations!

Right when we walked in a man driving a firetruck asked if we wanted a ride! We hopped right in and had front door service to the castle!

Our table had the perfect view of the carousel!

Emory was in awe!
The breakfast was awesome and the girls got a wishing star and a cinderella wand to go with breakfast!

All the princesses came by to say hello! This is the first time I can say that this is a bad looking Sleeping Beauty- don't you think?!

We celebrated the girls birthdays while we were there. They got cupcakes and everyone sang to them!!

Christian's favorite princess we met (b/c she looked and talked just like Tiana in the movie)

first stop- the carousel we starred at during breakfast.

Our first ride was It's a Small World.

We bought princess hats- even Daddy liked it:)

took a quick snooze

Emory drove me around (she was super nervous b/c she thought we were really wanting her to drive a car. I had to talk her into driving. "But I'm just a kid"

CC drove Daddy around.

took a stop at Pooh's house!

Then we rode Space Mountain!
ya'll- this was SCARY! We all had to sit in individual seat, so EMory was by herself. I obviously had forgotten what Space Mountain was like, otherwise I would have never put E on it. When we got off Emory said "Mama, THAT.WAS. SCARY." but 10 minutes later wanted to go on it again!

the picture they took during the ride.

We rode a new roller coaster called The Barnstormer. It was pretty jerky and CC almost lost her Minnie ears. She thought it was hilarious b/c I really did have to reach up and grab them b/f they flew away!

they both loved Dumbo. This is the only thing that CC remembers from the last time we went

watched a few parades.
