Our weekend (part 2)

heading into the petting farm.
how cute do they look! I love the little waddle that Emory has when she walks- as if she is going to fall at any moment (and usually does!). She was pulling on Bryan to try to get away from the horse. she was not liking it!

the baby goat was more her speed!

Christian loved them all

Then we headed down to do a little fishing.

They didn't catch anything, but we all had fun. CC LOVES to fish and Bryan loves that she loves to fish

Ewwww.....touching the worms.

Here is the rooster crowing...

and here is Emory copying the rooster....

We spent most of Saturday (after it quit raining) at Oak Mountain and had a blast. The girls loved roaming around the little petting zoo and fishing. We drove around checking out the cabins, beach, and golf course. It would be the best time to get a group of friends together to spend the weekend in the cabins. The golf course is really nice, but we might have to stay away from the beach- ewwww! They have paddle boats that we might try next time.We plan to go back to Oak Mountain soon. We all had a fun time together .

Our weekend (Part 1)

CC's swimming lessons began this week! While she is having her lesson, Emory and I are swimming as well!
This little one LOVES the water. she is going to be a little fish, just like her sister. This the first time that Emory has been in the water where she knows what is going on. She kicks all around and really like going under.

The Chick-Fil-A close to our home has a great play area, which is perfect for raining days!

hopefully when swimming lessons are over, Christian can swim without her swimmies!
We have officially entered summer break! This past week, we have had swimming lessons, library summer reading parties, and lot of outside playing. We've been just as busy this memorial weekend with fun activities...pictures to come soon.

What did you do tonight?

We reenacted Shanna's wedding!

Christian put on a swimsuit and one of my swim wraps as a veil with a blue cup as the flowers.
I threw random toys and candy at them while they walked

Christian must have remembered doing this BECAUSE......

she wanted to sit in a chair with her 'veil' over the chair and Daddy to get under her veil. (I almost wet my pants laughing so hard every time I see this picture. She was so serious about the whole wedding).

This video is of the vows. She took this very seriously. She even handed me a handful of sour gummy worms to throw at them! I might just have to show these pictures at her wedding!!!

The big day

I think CC is going to have a career that deals with wedding 'something'. She LOVES anything and everything that has to do with weddings. The second she laid eyes on Shanna, she gasped and said "Ohhhhhh". She also was obsessed with making sure Shanna's veil was straight and perfect
Isn't she the cutest flower girl EVER!

Don't they look adorable.

CC kept following her around- just wanted to stand next to her.

CC found the dance floor and wouldn't get off!

how cute!

My BFF, Ellen, who I rarely see, but LOVE it when I do! We just pick up where we left off.

Finally a picture of the two of us!

My parents and me

Not only have Shanna and I been friends for 24 years, we also worked together at the same school. Doesn't this look like a fun group to work with?!

All of us together drinking our cosmos!

Let the festivities begin!

14 bridesmaids makes for a fun bridesmaid's luncheon!

Shanna and Jason

Christian and Jase were the flower girl and ring bearer- they both did fantastic

All the bridesmaids played the 'shoe game' with Shanna and Jason. They each had one anothers shoe while we ask questions, they hold up the shoe that fits the question best.

My great friend since second grade, Shanna, got married this weekend. It was the so fun to see my friend of 24 years get married to a wonderful man. They are absolutely perfect together.
