4 year old stats!

CC is weighing in at 37 pounds (50-75 percentile). She is 41.75 inches tall (90 percentile).
Not sure why she wanted to wear this silly headband the entire time, but to each their own.

She loved the nurse and did everything she said to do.

But was not very happy when she found out the nurse was pricking her finger. She could not get over it!

I really do dread going to the doctor's office with both girls b/c you never know how long you will be waiting in the small room. And it is a definite that someone will have a meltdown and food will end up all over the floor. But this time, everyone was happy. Emory even smiled on cue!

She was happy and content in the stroller reading a book. Don't you just want to kiss this face?!

and after you kiss Emory's face....don't you want to kiss this one?!
Dr. Habeeb said Christian was a perfect 4 year old. I was so proud of CC answering all of Dr. Habeeb's questions and getting 2 shots like a big girl.

This video is of Emory singing Happy Birthday! Mimi taught her a few months ago when it was her birthday and she LOVES to sing it! Can you hear her singing 'happy birthday"?

4th weekend- Sunday

Fran and I went to see Eclipse again on Sunday! Fran does the BEST Kristen Stewart impression! (the next post will have just Edward and me:):):)
hehehehehe

Phillip took us on a tour of his job site. He is building a waste water facility, so he was talking a lot of sh*t:):):)

They have a wonderful park right next to where he works, so the girls played while we were at the movies. Emory didn't want to swing by herself, so Mr. Phillip sat with her!

I wanted to see the oil on the beaches b/c I had seen pictures from Pensacola with oil everywhere. It was pretty crowded and people were still in the ocean. There was oil everywhere in the sand but it was a light color and very tiny balls. Signs and clean off areas were everywhere. (what is CC doing?!)

Skippers

AS we were getting out of the car, CC saw a crown and felt like she needed to wear it so everyone would know she is a princess.

After naps, we headed downtown to play in the splash pads and go to the 4th of July festival.

CC was tired of walking, so we created a double stroller. Emory loves to poke people's eyes! even her sisters.

We had so much fun and the girls we great considering we were 'out and about' for 8 hours straight!

The festival we went to was huge and had tons to do. Christian got her face painted and hair sprayed pink.
We had the best 4th of July weekend. It was jammed packed, but the most fun we have had in a long time. The girls loved each other and played non stop.
Skippers, we miss you already. Thank you for a fun time. We love ya!

4th weekend- Saturday

Friday after Bryan got off work, we packed up and headed to visit our best friends, Fran and Phillip.
These 3 girls had the best time together....look at Emory's bed head:):)

We ran around the house and played like crazy!

We went swimming

and had so much fun!! Our fantastic husbands kept the girls for the afternoon while Fran and I laid out and talked, talked, talked! It was so nice to actually talk in person and catch up.

Then we got a babysitter and went to dinner
at the great restraunt on the water.

Then after being chased by a man on a bike:), we went to this place that had about 6 different bars off of this main hallway.....We spent the majority of the night in the piano bar.

We celebrated Fran's 30th birthday! It was the best time ever!

Mom of the year award

I have NEVER worn a shirt with someones face on it. I proudly wore it to CC's bday dinner. I should have known that I would be wearing the same shirt as half of pre-teens there when I had to buy a YOUTH XL just to fit in the shirt!

We were so stinkin' excited. We got there an hour early to make sure we had good seats.

So, after CC's fun birthday party, Angela and I headed to see ECLIPSE!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I know.....I don't get the mom of the year award for going to a movie on my daughter's 4th bday. BUT........it was her bedtime and she was sleeping. I did have to keep it a secret that I was going to see Robert b/c CC loves him too!

Anyone else a Twilight fan?!!! Angela and I are- big time....even though she is Team Jacob and Team Edward (I'm not even sure that is allowed!)The movie was GREAT! It doesn't follow the book exactly and it changes a few thing, but overall it was excellent! Bryan would have been so annoyed with us b/c we constantly were pointing out how things were different from the book (he can't stand when I do that!). I thought the acting was a lot better than the first two b/c let's face it.....it's not the best acting out there:):). I am Team Edward all the way, but I did feel sorry for Jacob. I can't wait to see it again (with Fran on Sunday...hehehe).

Come Juan...Come All

CC woke up to her own birthday set up in the kitchen
cupcakes for her friends at school (I had planned to go to the school to celebrate with her class but they were in lockdown all day b/c of a robbery down the street from her church. Her teacher was so nice and still had the party for her with all the craziest going on!)

she was so excited to see the kitchen and all her presents

The birthday girl and Emory!

Mexican Themed Birthday!

ready to party!

She loved the hat and everyone singing

I meant to take a picture of all the kids but it slipped my mind with all that was going on!
We decided to have a 'low key/relaxing' birthday for CC at a Mexican restaurant....but I'm not sure what I part I thought was going to be relaxing with a 11 kids and a baby who wants to be IN HER BED at 7:00 (Emory). It was absolutely the most chaotic thing I have ever experienced...... BUT Christian had the best time with her friends and that was the whole point (who cares that the Congleton's will never be welcomed to Habernos again....it was worth it!). Thanks for all who joined in the chaos with us! You all made Christian's birthday a blast!

4 years of Christian

Her actual "BIRTH" day! I remember staring at the picture thinking she is the prettiest baby every born. She must have a little jaundice in this picture b/c she's never been this tan::):)
Her first birthday

2nd Birthday

3rd birthday
Today, my precious little girl, Christian, turns FOUR years old! When did I become old enough to have a four year old! I can't believe she is already four years old, yet I feel like I can't remember my life without her. She is just the cutest, smartest, prettiest thing around. I can't get enough of this little girl. She is as girly as they come and a little Miss Priss.
She was so excited to go to bed last night so she could wake up this morning as a 4 year old. She picked out a dress to make sure she looked beautiful on her birthday and told me that she didn't need a big bow now that she was old (we'll discuss this later...no reason to burst her bubble on her birthday, right!?).
She also told me that she needed to take a nap so that she wouldn't have those lines coming out from her eyes (wrinkles!).....I think she's taking this 'getting old' thing a bit too seriously!
Happy Birthday Christian!

When the Mice are away, the Cats will play!

While the girls were at my parents, we had a fun night out with friends. We headed to Do Di Yos for dinner, which was great. Even though the air wasn't working and they stuck us in a secluded corner, we still had a fun fun time completing our sentences and not picking food up from the floor! Then we headed to Jackson's for drinks afterwards. I feel like it's been FOREVER since I've had a night like Friday, and it was so much fun!
Saturday, Bryan and I slept in then headed to my school to get my classroom in order for next year. I know it seems early, but I am gone every weekend in July and August will be here before ya know it! My room is clean and organized and ready for school.....now I just have to work on ME being ready:):):)
Saturday night, we strolled around the mall shopping for sunglasses, which apparently is not easy for me! I finally narrowed it down to two pair but ultimately walked away empty handed b/c the salesman was annoying. Then we enjoyed dinner out and a quick stop into Buy Buy Baby (THE BEST baby store EVER!!! they have absolutely EVERYTHING. if you have a kid, you have to go........ and if you don't have a kid- don't go b/c it might scare you enough to not want them!!!)
Sunday, we headed to church and actually made it on time! We were ready 15 minutes early and didn't know what to do:):):)
It was a very very productive weekend, but boy did we miss our girls. It sure is quiet around here without them.
