Family wedding fun!

Early Friday morning, we hopped in the car for the long car ride to Northern Kentucky for my cousin's wedding! We had the best time ever!!!

The car ride wasn't too bad, but Emory is not the best traveler. She doesn't really watch TV and wanted to talk the ENTIRE time! 

As soon as we got there, we took showers and headed to the rehearsal while the girls stayed with a babysitter.  

After dinner, we went to the Hofbrauhaus, a german bar, where everywhere stands in their chairs to dance and the beers are HUGE! We had so much fun and stayed out way later than we are used to! 

The wedding was so much fun too! The girls did great during the wedding and we partied all night!

 They had one of this photo areas where you put on silly things and take pictures in front of a backdrop. CC and I loved it, and as you can see, Emory wan't too fond of it!!

 A few years ago, we went to Gatlinburg while my family. They were telling us about this new drinking game - being 'iced', where you have to chug a smirnoff ice. Bryan 'iced' Jessie about 3 times and she never saw it coming. So at the wedding, Jessie 'iced' Bryan and he had to get down on one knew and chug the smirnoff ice! It was GREAT!!!!!

WHAT A FUN NIGHT and weekend! Congratulations Patrick and Jessie- you are perfect for each other. So happy for you both. 

SIX

My sweet Christian turned SIX on Saturday! I'll post more about her day later, but we started on Thursday taking 6 pictures with her number six candle!

Don't get the wrong idea!

Let me first start by saying -I Am NOT pregnant. But today, both girls, on separate occasions, have made comments about me having a baby boy in my belly!
This morning CC started kissing my belly. When I asked what she was doing she said,"um just kissing your belly because we want a baby brother"
Then while at gymnastics for CC, Emory kept asking if I had a baby in my belly. I kept replying NO. She finally yelled (and made everyone around us who was listening laugh) "BUT MAMA, WE WANT A BABY. We really want a baby!"
Then tonight Emory came in (for the 100th time avoiding bed time) to tell me she wants a baby brother named Daddy. I asked her what we would call Daddy if the baby's name was Daddy (following me??!!). Her response:
"we call Daddy Daddy and the boy Baby Daddy"!!!!

(I honestly have no idea where all the baby talk is coming from and why they are dead set on a brother, but I am trying not to become self conscious about the apparent baby bump my girls keep bringing up!!)

Look what we found!

This was in our yard today we when got home from the movie (saw Brave- not my favorite... A little scary and made sensitive Christian cry:().
It made Christian so excited and giggle non stop!!!

Have I lost my mind!!

We have been at the beach with Mimi and Grandaddy and had a wonderful time! I have a lot of pictures of the girls on the beach, but had to share this first. 

We went to Baytowne to eat one night, and while we were there CC decided she wanted to do the zip line! We let her (and I kept thinking she would chicken out) and she LOVED every second of it- wasn't scared at all! She is our dare devil - just walked right off the edge without giving it a second thought. Whew! Am I CRAZY for letting her do it?!!! (still can't decide- ha!)

swimming lessons

Emory has been taking swimming lessons for the past two weeks for an hour a day. She took them last year and jumped right in without any fear. She did great the first two days while most of the others were crying. About the time the others in the class decided they were okay and didn't cry as much, Emory started crying! Not sure why, but she would cry like crazy every now and then. We got her some goggles, like sissy, and it seemed to help. 

Christian enjoyed the lessons too b/c she got to swim/play with Sophia for an hour. 

Swim lessons were great, but I am HAPPY they are over! A stressful hour every day for two weeks was enough!

Bieber Fever!!!

We FINALLY had Christian's Justin Bieber themed bday party at her gymnastic place. She had the best time! It's so funny to watch all the kids. No one really talked- just ran around like crazy until it was time for cake. 

She had a fun time seeing all her friends from class and preschool.
