The weekend

Allison and Emory hanging out!

She sure had a good time until the end...she was ANGRY that the band was still playing and she couldn't sleep

playing cornhole on David's iphone...starting her early!

Cooper's 2nd bday party at the zoo....what a fun party!

Happy Birthday to you!

CC loved her elephant hat from Cooper

Cute John Patrick

The train ride...Cooper's favorite

Gloria from Madagascar!

We had a fun-filled weekend. Friday night we had a mini supper club at Yankee Pizza. CC was the only older kid there at first but found plenty of other kids to play with. Finally, Ava came so she had someone to run around with.
Then Saturday morning we headed to Cooper's 2nd birthday at the zoo. It was so much fun...what a great party. We got to pet a turtle, snake (EW!!), and a ferret, had bday cake, then rode the train. Afterwards we all walked around looking at the animals. They must have known it was a special day b/c all the animals were out walking around looking for Cooper!
Then Gran and Papaw were there when we got home from the party...we played, went shopping, and out to dinner. Sunday we headed to the beach!!! YAY!!! That is where we are now...in the middle of a tropical storm....ugh!!! I think it is supposed to clear up today- hopefully anyway..guess that means we'll have to go shopping!!!!:):)

McWane your brain

CC ready to go!
CC and Andrew together....of course!!!
Brannen and Andrew golfing....aren't they cute

Mason (in the middle) playing volley ball on a blue screen...it was adorable and he was really good

AHhhhhhhhhhh...Mason's being eaten by a fish!

looking for a shark in the shark tank...you could pet them, but we all decided that was gross!

At a car shop fixing the car. When the car was fixed Andrew said they were going to Canada!

being lifted up by nails. Brannen loved it, Mason wouldn't get on, and Andrew and Christian said "Get me off!"

In a tornado tank. The wind blew 80 mph. The kids were so funny in there and loved it!

Today we headed to the McWane Center with the Ashfords. We all had a blast....what a fun place. Christian, of course, immediately stuck to Andrew, but did share her time with Brannen and Mason this time! All the kids (including Emory) were so good the entire time....we were there from 10:30-2:45! I'm surprised CC lasted that long without falling asleep (the girl likes her naps!). I think we need a membership b/c CC loves it and there are a lot of things for babies to do too. I don't know why we don't go more often...

INSTYLER review

Okay.....so I'm still trying to decide if I like the INSTYLER. Drying my hair is such a proces...blowing drying in 4 sections. For each section I blow dry first without a brush, then with a round brush, then use a flat iron. So I was hoping with the INSTYLER that I could skip the round brush part. So, on my Monday I just dryed my hair and tried the INSTYLER. I was not very satisified with the outcome....not as straight as I like and still felt thick and out of control (does that make sense?). But, I gave it another shot this morning. I did all steps- just used the INSTYLER instead of flat iron. It worked much better, but it akward to use and will take some getting use to. AND....I burnt the 'you-know-what' out of my thumb....OUCH!!!!!!
So...Mallory's review.......STICK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.
But....if you do decide to get one, order it from http://anyhealthcare.com/. I only paid $35 ( I just checked and the price is now $49...not sure why??!!!).

hopefully worth the wait

I got sucked into an infomercial....the INSTYLER!!!! It's a flat iron and curling iron in one...it's supposed to make your hair super straight but will also give you loose (or tight) curls. I've never been so excited to wash and dry my hair (and the even more exciting part is I will actually get to wash my hair tomorrow!!!). I ordered it about 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been checking the mail every day looking for it...and it FINALLY arrived (from China). I'll keep you updated on the outcome

First time for everything

Bryan and CC before they headed out for the Barron's game with the church
Emory and I having girl time while Daddy and CC were at the game
Emory is excited about her first time at church
My girls before church
Last night Bryan and CC went to the Barron's game with the church. They got home around 10:30, and I thought for sure that CC would be exhausted....NOPE! She was so hyper and ready to tell me about her night. She is such a dare devil.....they have a huge hill and she ran down it and busted!! She has a big strawberry on her bum-bum. They were also soaking wet b/c it poured down rain for about 15 minutes....she loved it!
While they were gone, Emory and I played together on the floor. We had so much fun laughing and smiling!
Today, I was volunteering in the church nursery so I thought it would be a good day to take Emory there. Before we have just taken her to our Sunday School class, but today was the first day to go to the nursery. I was supposed to be in the toddler room but ended up in the same room as Emmie. She was perfect and enjoyed watching all the little ones trying to crawl and pull up on everything!

Sneak peek

Back in June I won a little session and brag book from this local photographer. So, this morning we had a session for Emory's 3 month and CC's 3 year pics. She was FANTASTIC! I couldn't have been happier.
Anyway, she put a few of the pictures on her blog, http://sfisherphotography.com/blog/?p=301
Go check them out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them and can't wait to see the rest.
