dishes in the sink, clothes in the dryer

BUT........

I have been productive! I made 2 pair of pants for little CC! (actually 3 but the other pair needs a little work). I am so stinkin' excited about them. I tried to get some pictures of CC in them, but not such luck. Oh well.....I'll sneak one when she's not looking.
Now, I need to make matching ones for little Emory and we're set!

This weekend we.....

went to dinner with some great friends. One of which is pregnant!!! And I couldn't be happier for her. Sarah is my best friend from high school and she is 17 weeks pregnant- and looks amazing! I am soooooo sooooo sooooo happy for her!
went over to the Meacham's house to watch the game! War Eagle (even though it was a horrible game and had these 4 adorable cheerleaders)

we watched CC and Sophia change outfits 10 different times and skip their nap (which later came back to bite us in the 'you-know-what')

bounced until we fell asleep!
tried on our Halloween costume for the first time

slept in our Halloween costume (I have the same picture of Christian in her first Halloween costume doing the same thing!)

went to our church fall festival for games and fun
smiled for many pictures!
woke up happy! (always a plus!)

got a balloon flower!

laughed at our daddy taking our picture
went to visit baby Kate and take the Scroggins' dinner.

hope that sweet Ava feels better (has had a fever all weekend- boo!)

Special Snack

Every Friday, Christian's class has a special snack. this week was Christian's week. So, I made these adorable frog cupcakes. I saw them and just knew that all of CC's school's friends would LOVE them. Aren't they so cute! Next week they are learning the letter 'F', so were are getting a head start on the 'F' words- Frogs!
CC is napping now, so she hasn't seen them....she will love them. Now the task will be keeping CC's little fingers out of the icing.
Soccer tonight! She's liking more and more every week. Let's hope we can make it a full practice/game without tears......who knows!

attempt

Okay....so I was blog stalking and looked at Mary Michael's blog. I loved the little shirt she made, and wanted to try it. The only fabric I had was from the bed skirt and vanity in CC's room. So I decided to make this shirt using Mary Michael's directions. SOOOOOOOO easy (from start to finish, it took less than an episode of Two and Half Men I was watching-including clean up and put away!!) The only white shirt I had to use was one with pleats at the top, so it was a little harder than one without pleats. I also drew the 'C' and cut it out without a pattern. So it's not perfect. But it was easy and I plan on making more with different shirts and fabric. If you see Emory and Christian constantly in a shirt with their initials, you will now now why!!!!

Quick Trip

Christian put Gigi's hairnet on Emory....hopefully E will never work in a lunchroom, because the hairnet look is not for her. (For the record...Gigi wears them to sleep- not to work in a lunchroom)
They love each other

Emory just couldn't get enough of her Gigi.

CC kissing Gigi leg.

CC in the Pezold McDonald's outfit!
beautiful Eleanor

beautiful Amelia....

We went to my parents this week to see family and friends. My Gran broke her ankle and had surgery to put a rod in her leg, so we went to cheer her up. While home, we hung out with some of our favorite friends. Bryan and I haven't had a chance to see them in a long time. So it was great to catch up while watching some Auburn football- WAR EAGLE!
PS- So everyone who has seen Emory lately has been commenting on how big she has gotten! I guess we see her everyday so we don't notice it as much. Anyway, one of the people who have been staying with my Gran put it the best way..."Ewwww...she so juicy. I love me some juicy babies." intertesting way to put it, huh?!So.....maybe Emory's new nickname needs to be 'juicy'.....

Faces of a baby

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!
already smiling

practicing her "WAAAAAAAAAAAAR EAGLE"
happy and content

I don't know what to do with such a little baby
Emory, 5 months..Kate, 1 week

This day made me happy. I finally got to meet baby Kate. Kate was born on September 26th but was unable to come home until the following Wednesday. She had a reaction to the cream put on her eyes after birth and had to spend some time in the NICU. She recovered and finally made it home. Emory and I went out to see her and I couldn't get enough. She is so tiny (and Emory is so big!) that it looked like Emory could eat her in one bite!!! I CANNOT wait for Ava, Christian, Emory, and Kate to play together!

hearding cats

fun action shot!
listening to Coach Daddy

Sweet Angela ran w/ CC because she didn't want to.

YAY~!!!!!!!!

This video makes me smile...especially the end where Bryan and CC do a high five! Coach Daddy and Stephan are telling them to get down like frogs. then they throw the balls. The kids have to go find their ball and kick it in the goal. They love it. Watch 2 of the boys who continued to act like frogs!

(Again...this title came from Bryan!)We had the best soccer practice/game this week. Christian was happy to participate (well mostly- I had to tell her that Sophia said she couldn't cry:):). We had a surprise game that we were all worried about. the kids did great- even against the bullies on the other team that kept pushing them. I'm not sure that CC will be the next Soccer champion, but she is getting the hang of it!
