Disney World- Day Three

Today Christian dressed up as Jasmine. Christian's friend, Sophia, has this same outfit and she loves it. So her Gran and Papaw surprised her and bought it for her while we were in Epcot. So naturally, we had to wear it when we went back to Magic Kingdom for our 3rd and last day.
Right when we walked in we met Pinocchio.

This day the castle was open for us to walk through to see all the picture mosaics on the wall. We also walked by Bippity Boppity Boutique, where little girls get made up into princesses. In my opinion it was a little over the top and if you had dark hair you end up looking like Snookie! But when we walked by, we peeked and it did look pretty fun. I had to drag CC away.

We went to the Dance Party Parade again....just as much fun as the first time

Very excited but very shy when meeting the Princess and the Frog characters.

With all the posing for pictures with the princesses, CC wanted to pose with Daddy!

The Buzz light year right was a blast, especially if someone you know is in front of you. Your rocket ship could spin all around and shoot lasers at them. Great fun!

We stuck around late for the parade and fireworks (notice the costume change:):)- we are now Sleeping Beauty). Big mistake we made- showing up for the 9:00 parade at 8:50!!! The place was PACKED. Luckily an older couple saw us looking for a spot and let us squeeze in next to them. The spot was perfect- the parade went right in front of us. We got very lucky and well worth staying around. The fireworks were incredible. Tinker Bell flies out of the castle which amazed Christian. At the end of the fireworks they say to make a wish. CC told me her wish was that Tinker Bell would come down to see her!

We got very lucky getting a good spot. People started getting their spots around 6:30 for the 9:00 parade!!!!
This sleeping beauty was worn out and had the time of her life! She will randomly bring up stuff that happened in Disney World- she can't stop thinking about it!
Saturday was our last day there and we spent it in Magic Kingdom again. CC, of course, wanted to get back on the tea cups! We finished everything that we didn't do the time before. One thing that was super helpful was the 'DW waiting time' app on my phone. It showed us how the wait time was for each ride, which helped us not waste time if we didn't want to wait. It was correct everytime and worth the $1.99. Christian loved the PhilharMagic 3-D show! She kept reaching out to touch things- very cute!
Another tip- skip the Country Bear Jamboree unless you need a little rest-! We went back to the hotel for a little nap, since we were going to be there late. Good thing b/c we didn't get home until midnight. I can't wait to go back. It was the best vacation ever seeing Christian so excited and happy.

Disney World- Day Two

(forgot to add to last post).....After the ponchos and rain, we had dinner at the hotel at a VERY good Italian restaurant.
Next day, CC dressed as Snow White and we headed to Epcot

We had breakfast with the princesses. The food was great and well worth it. All the princesses stopped by to sign autographs, chat, and take pictures.

Ariel.

How cute is this!!
my little Snow White!

We all decided to get in a picture since we stood in line for over an hour to see the Disney characters....

CC thought this was hilarious. Pluto signed his name with her book on his nose. She's still talking about it!

All the Goofies

We bought the wedding ear in preparation for Shanna's upcoming wedding that CC is in :):)

This girl's got style!

My parents took CC back to the hotel to swim while Bryan and toured the countries. First stop- England for a beer!

We had a drink in every country....can you tell this was after visiting a few countries??!!

Day Two was Epcot! I wasn't sure how it would be with Christian, but we all loved it. The ride, Soarin' was awesome. You feel like you are flying over the country. CC kept lifting her feet, so she wouldn't hit the trees. It was so neat. The test track was fun and fast and CC loved it (so did her daddy!).
We then headed to breakfast with the princesses. When you first walked in, you were greeted by Belle. And you won't believe it.....Belle remembered Christian from the day before!!! We were all very impressed and it made CC's day. Then we stood in a long, stinky line to see all the Mickey Mouse Characters. It was so cute to watch Christian b/c she would become so shy and in shock that she was actually meeting them. One thing to remember for future visits- skip Honey I shrunk the audience....boring and very outdated. Other than that, we loved Epcot.
Bryan and I had a blast touring the countries, watching shows, shopping, eating, and trying different drinks.

Disney World- Day ONE

We all 5 crammed into one car and began the 6 hour drive to Orlando. This is my mom and CC playing Go Fish.
Our first picture in front of Cinderella's castle!
Cinderella's wicked step mother and step sisters. They stayed in character and were hilarious. They kept commenting on Christian's choice to wear a bow AND a crown.

Story time with Belle. Christian was called up to be Mrs. Potts!

Dumbo ride!~ We were both squealing the entire time.

Dance Party Parade. CC and my mom loved it....can you tell?!

SOooooooooooo excited!

Do you think she's having fun?!

CC drove Daddy in the Speedway Track. She was all over the place and Bryan said she was laughing hysterically throughout the ride.

We waited for about 60 minutes to see the princesses in ToonTown. We met Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty. Christian was so quiet and shy when she was meeting them. The second she turned the corner afterwards, her mouth fell to the floor in amazement! It was the cutest thing ever!

The Tea Cups was her favorite ride. She kept wanted to get back on it. Daddy was spinning us so fast, there was a point that I thought both CC and I were going to throw up! But she it didn't stop her....she wanted to go back
When I was maybe 11 years old, my dad took my friend, Shanna, and I to an Auburn/Kentucky football game. While we were there, it started pouring down rain. We didn't have an umbrella or jacket, so my dad made us wear trash bags to keep dry. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED and still remember it. Well, here we are 20 years later.......:):)
It started raining towards the end of the first day. Luckily, our day was almost over. Since we only had 4 ponchos, CC was carried under the poncho with Bryan and me. We did create a little hole for her to breathe! If you have ever been to Disney World, you know there are many different types of people, so we didn't stick out too bad!
We arrived to Orlando Wednesday night after a 9 hour trip from Birmingham, ate dinner, and hopped in the pool (CC was the only one NOT tired!). We woke up early Thursday morning to get the day started in Magic Kingdom. Apparently, I say 'CC was so excited she was about the jump out of her skin" often because Christian looked at me at one point and said "Mom, I'm gonna pop outta my skin I'm so excited!" She would sing, "We're going to Disney World. We're going to Disney World" while on the bus to the park.
She didn't know what to think or say when she saw the castle for the first time or when she met the princesses. It was the best time of her little life. Seriously, she had the BEST time- as did Gran, Papaw, Bryan, and me. She was up for going on any ride and going non-stop the entire time. We wore costumes everyday along with crowns.
Day 1 she was Belle, which was perfect b/c we met her twice!

Beautiful Georgia and her proud grandparents!

These two girls are going to be great great friends. I just know it!

little Miss Priss....adorable. She would pick the little pink balls of frosting off so neatly.

Emory's BFF, Georgia, was born 2 days before Emory and were two doors down from us in the hospital. So, she is Emory's longest friend! Georgia's party was the cutest thing EVER and Georgia looked adorable in her birthday dress and new haircut!
I can't wait to watch these two grow up together and spend many more years celebrating their birthday back to back!

Emory's Day

I'm so happy! (don't comment on the sloping cake that is being held up by toothpicks!)
Ohhhh...it's so hard to watch your sister dig into a cake and you aren't allowed to touch it yet.....it's almost impossible!

Whew- this is GOOD!

OKAY Mama- I'm about to POP!

Her birthday bath

opening a few presents from CC. Her party is in a few weeks, but you can't have a birthday without a present, right!?
standing up ALL BY HERSELF! love her little pot belly
Christian got her a tunnel and she LOOOOOVES it!

A birthday trip to the park after her birthday cake, presents, and bath. We were supposed to spend the afternoon at the zoo, BUUUUTTTTTT we all took a birthday nap and didn't wake up in time.

FUN

this makes everyone nervous!
We all had a fun time on Emory's birthday! And guess what she did the day after her birthday- SHE WALKED!!! Finally-I thought for sure that this little girl was going to be carried around on my hip for many more months to come b/c she has had no interest in standing or walking. Then all of a sudden, the week of her birthday, she started standing. Then took 8-10 steps on Saturday. Guess she felt older?!

How would you like to be our neighbor?!

this is what Christian does most days when playing outside. I have to sneak to video her b/c she immediately stops if I step outside. She is singing "Party in the USA". American Idol- here we come!

And....who else likes the new Usher song- OMG!!! If so, come on over and dance with Emory!
