Visit to Gran and Pawpaw!

We went to visit my parents this past weekend and had a great time

One of my best friends had this beautiful little boy in February and I FINALLY got to meet him! He is such a good baby and cute as ever!

I miss ya Ellen! Great to see you as a mommy- Austin is one lucky little boy (and so is Matt!)

Gran lined up for CC to get a little mini horse back riding lesson.
This is Emory the one and only time she got next to the horse. She wasn't too fond of them- just like her mama!

CC, on the other hand, couldn't get enough! She loved EVERYTHING about being with the horses!

trying to get E with the horse again. I don't even think she knew she was this close!

 getting ready!
Mimi and Granddaddy gave her horse back riding lessons for her birthday and she is so excited. She won't stop asking when she can go and if we can get a horse (and keep it in the backyard!)

The lady was so nice to take time with CC.

She showed CC how to get on, sit correctly and ride the horse .

trying again with Emory. honestly, I didn't like being this close either- ha!

Then we got to play with Baby Allie! She is so cute and looks a lot like her mama - curly hair and personality too! We sure do love Baby Allie. Courtney, you have got to move back SOON so we can play with her more:)

Then we went swimming Sunday before we left. How cute does Emory look laying out!

and CC too! I wish they had her swim suit in my size! I love it!

Emory's fun

Emory's BFF, Georgia, gave her a gift certificate to get a pedicure. She ABSOLUTELY loved it and sat still the entire time.
Aren't the chairs adorable

Fran and Phillip came in town last weekend, and we kept their little ones for a while. Between Bryan and Emory, I never got a chance to hold this sweet chunky monkey! Isn't he the cutest thing ever!

These three had fun playing. I think Emory was getting a little jealous of Lucy playing with CC though. Bryan heard her lean over to Lucy and say, "Do you like sissy better or me better?" Lucy luckily said Emory, then E scooted closer to her and leaned her head on Lucy's shoulder!

EMory kept showing Reynolds all her toys.

and shoving stuff in his face!

He even got to meet Papaw!

just a few of the things she felt Reynolds needed!

Doesn't it look like Reynolds is saying "What in the world is this girl doing?!"

Everyone seems to think we need a brother!!!

Christian's End of Year Party

I'm a little behind on blogging- just went through my pictures and realized I have some catching up to do!

CC had a great last week of school and many fun things going on. They got to bring their baby dolls and just be kids for a while. They all loved it.

They had a class breakfast party and showed a sweet video of pictures throughout the year. Sweet Mrs. Morton made a copy for all of the kids to take home. Of course, most of the mamas were crying!

 Mrs. Morton and CC
 Mrs. Young and CC

Then they had an afternoon party with all the kindergarten classes and parents who wanted to come. CC loved me jumping with her in the bounce house!

 Sidewalk chalk Christian!

They played tic-tac-toe over and over. Gran has taught her well- she won most of the games:)

CC still misses school. I'm not sure Mrs. Morton should be allowed to be a kindergarten teacher:):) She sure sets the bar high for the rest of her school career. She might be in 10th grade before she stops saying, "I miss Mrs. Morton"!!

visit from Tooth Fairy

We got everything ready for the tooth fairy to come to our house for the first time! A lady at work gave me this pillow at a baby shower for Christian. Isn't it pretty and it has a little pocket in the back to put the tooth.

CC wrote a letter to the tooth fairy!

Dear Tooth Fairy, I want to keep my tooth. Please and I believe in fairies and this is my first tooth that falled out.

The tooth fairy wrote her back!!! I have to give credit where credit is due. Bryan came in the kitchen and made this!!! How creative Daddy! Here's what the letter says:
Christian, Thank you for this tooth! I know it was your 1st to loose, so I left you an extra $5! Each one after this is worth $1. Keep 'em coming!
PS- I read your note and left your tooth.

Bryan went in to give her a kiss before she left and she was counting her money quietly in her bed!! Then we read the note and felt in the pocket for her tooth, which was not in there! We had to tear her bed apart, take the mattress off and search underneath to find it. Luckily, we did- WHEW!

She is saving her money and we are going to find a special box to hold her tooth.

Emory's BIG week

Emory has had a lot going on this week! After a stressful doctor's appointment on Tuesday, we followed it up with an end of the year party on Wednesday!

We had a picnic with her class (inside, thank goodness:) and watched a sweet video that her teachers put together.

They handed out little awards to each child. Emory got 'Future Hair Stylist' because she loves to play with everyone's hair!

Daddy surprised us and came for the last part!

Then today, she had her moving up ceremony and got to meet her new teacher in her new big girl classroom! This is Emory's sweet friend, Lucy.

We love Mrs. Karen! She is going to be in Emory's class this summer, and we couldn't be happier!

During the ceremony, they showed another sweet video of the 5K kids interviewing them. It was adorable.  Then they gave out more awards and certificates.
Emory received the "BEST LISTENING EARS" award!!!
 "WHAAAAAT?"

They gave out two medals to the first boy and girl that were potty trained!! And our Emory won the medal!

 She was so proud!

Mrs. Carolyn, the one who takes all the pictures of the class throughout the day.

Afterwards, we met her new teacher and played in her new room for a while. She really likes it and jumped right in to playing kitchen. Starting tomorrow they will be in their new "big girl" class, can get out of the car in the car pool line, and will begin taking naps at 1:00 in the big room with all the kids! Let's hope it goes well- ha!
My little girl is growing up! With that and CC loosing a tooth, I feel like I don't have babies anymore!

Funny day!!

So we were in the parking lot o Office Depot and ran into Mrs. Morton, CC's kindergarten teacher. After talking for a while, Mrs. Morton asked about Christian's loose tooth, felt it, and offered to pull it. Christian almost had a heart attack she was so excited!
Very expected and random way to loose your first tooth! A story we will never forget.

Look at the excitement in CC's face!!

Can you believe it?!!:)
