By request

Christian wanted a side ponytail on Friday! Then when we got to school I turned around and she had put on lipstick and added a dangling earring!!!

You can't really tell its a side ponytail in the picture. I couldn't being myself to do a true 80's style side ponytail!!!!! I am happy that she still wanted a bow:):):)

gymnastic party

The girls had a birthday party for Sophia at CC's gymnastics place this past Saturday. The girls had SO MUCH FUN, especially Emory! Normally, we have to stay in the lobby and watch CC do gymnastic, but Emory got to go in and play this time. She ran around the entire hour they had to play- absolutely non-stop!

CC showing how she can balance on the bar! Pretty impressive:)

how cute does Emory look in Christian's old gymnastics leotard!!

Can you tell Emory was trying everything and had no fear! It was really a party for CC's friend, Sophia. But since Emory is friends with her sister, Elise, she got to tag along! I think she had more fun than anyone. We have to sign her up for gymnastics:):):) I bet I have a hard time keeping her in the lobby from here on out :0
The party was perfect- the kids ran around like nuts for an hour, ate cake and ice cream for 3o minutes- just enough time to tire them out!!

Emory's random pictures

Here are the random pictures of Emory that I enjoyed finding...

Before Emory was born, we lined up a photographer to come to our house to take newborn pictures. she said newborn pictures were best if done before 10 days old. I was DYING to have some of those cute newborn pictures of her all balled up looking like a brand new baby. Little did I know I was going to have a 9 lb 13 oz. baby that came out and was immediately put in a size 1 diaper!

So the cute newborn pictures weren't really designed for babies like Emory! The photographer tried and tried, but it didn't work. So I decided I wanted Emory laying on top of CC's back and WE would do the photo shoot. This is what we go. Not at all what I was picturing, but funny to look back on what all we did to get a picture- ha!

 3 month pictures.

Doesn't she look like an angel

doesn't she look so happy here!

This is one of the first time she smiled/laughed and I was trying to get it on my phone

talking to my Gran, her GiGi

can't you tell they love each other

finding her self in the mirror and 'kissing the baby'. She LOVE that baby in the mirror!

 I remember this day.

It was good Friday and Bryan had off. It was such a pretty day and we laid out blankets and sat outside all day. We had a picnic of Taco Bell and Emory kept trying to drink our drinks! She wasn't walking yet and wouldn't touch the grass. so she stayed on the blanket- so funny and made it a little more relaxing:):).

It was a perfect day!

just a funny picture of Emory. End of the photo shoot, right before she had a tiny little meltdown before the grandkid/grandparent pictures began.

This is how I feel at the end of most days!!!

I think they will be best friends forever!

This picture was taken in the middle of the CRAZY hospital photographer trying to get me to do all these poses for her and really upset that I already had newborn pictures planned outside of the hospital b/c 'she was a real photographer". I kept looking at my friend Fran telling her to get this lady out of my room!!!

I'm not sure why I was surprised I had an almost 10 lb baby!!! I think I was only 36 weeks here!!

she loved this sweater and ate the hell out of that snowman!!!

random pictures of CC

I have been organizing my photo albums and came across some cute memorable pictures. Here are a few of CC.

This picture is so cute to me.
I think CC was still so confused about what happened to her little world and she was wondering when the baby was going to leave!!

This picture was taken on one of our first outings as a family of 4. I HAD to have this double stroller that fit a bucket seat and CC could stand on the back. I was panicking about how I was ever going to leave the house with 2 children and not have this certain double stroller. the only problem was in was very long and almost impossible to turn or move. We unfortunately did not learn this until we decided to go on a mile walk to the park. I was still recovering from my c-section and it was no an easy walk. Once we got there it started raining, CC had to tee-tee behind a tree b/c there were no bathrooms (which got all over her clothes, shoes, socks, etc), and we left a bottle at home. the stroller sucked and we sold it on Craigs list the next week for the same price (luckily). Anyway, this cute picture of CC and Bryan talking was before the trip turned to hell!!!! I'm guessing Bryan is telling CC that he tried to tell me not to buy the stroller:):)
I can't remember where she was going , but she sure looks cute!

CC at the doctor with Bryan. Doesn't she look so little!

2 year old Halloween

first day of 3K (and first day of real school)

reenacting Shanna's wedding....still makes me laugh!

at 3D movie with PawPaw- hilarious!

2  things:
1- one of the first time wearing shorts! FOREVER she would only wear dresses or skirts b/c that is what princesses wore.
2. she ran into the sprinkler in her clothes and thought it was the funniest thing ever:): She loved it- Emory hated it

Her first day of Kindergarten at my school! Still love her being with me. I might be lost without her when she's at another school next year.

sew cute!

When we got home yesterday, I made CC this adorable eyelet bathing suit!
Doesn't it look cute!?
The pattern also has a apron style tankini top I'm going to try next with some flower seersucker fabric. I lined both the top and bottom, but I might do a test run in the bathtub to make sure it's not see through:):):)

Thanks to Christian for 'modeling' the bathing suit for me:):):)
