A few Christmas pics

CC and E decorating cookies for Santa.
Santa LOVED eating all the cookies with all the icing and sprinkles on them. The girls agreed it was a WAY to sugary to eat!!

Mimi and Grandaddy came the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with us. Both girls got American girl dolls .CC was BEYOND excited about getting Mckenna!
look at that face!

CC's gift to us that she made at school!

CC left Stewie (our elf) a note.
Translation:
CC: Dear Stewie, tell Santa that I was good. If I was not tell him I was not good.
Stewie: I told Santa you were good.:P
CC: To Stewie, I just want to know what is Santa like
(no repsonse b/c Stewie forgot she wrote that!)

the girls opens a few gifts when Gran and Pawpaw got here b/c they couldn't stand to look at all the presents w/o opening some!
CC got a Doc Mcstuffins doll with Lamby!

CC got her own set of golf clubs! Her and Daddy are going tomorrow to try them out for the first time! Who knows- this might be our ticket to a college scholarship!

Almost caught up!

I think this is my LAST group of pictures and I will be caught up on my blog! YAY!

CC singing in the choir!

CC's school had a turkey trot where the parents could come and run with them during their PE time. She is running in the Mercedes Marathon in February. Her PE time is at 2:00, so we were able to go run with her. Emory LOOOOOVED running with her sister!

Each time you run around the track you get a stick. 9 sticks= 1 mile. She has to run 25 miles before the marathon and she runs the last mile during the marathon. I'm not sure how many she has actually run (and I think we are supposed to be keeping up with it), but we'll say it's 25 miles!

Bryan went on field trip to the Southern Flight museum. He had to ride with school bus and he didn't know it (me neither!!).  It was only going to be a 2 hour field trip, so he thought he would just go then go into work. So, he wore his suit!! When he was getting onto the bus, the bus driver asked if he were Christian's dad b/c she reads our blog!

The director walked into my room one day saying I got some mail. I thought it was strange- why was I getting mail!? My sweet Bryan mailed me a letter. It just made my day and I couldn't stop smiling all day. He mailed the girls letters to our house too! They loved it too and they are hanging on our fridge so they can read them all the time!

All I want for Christmas

is my two front teeth!
CC lost her one of her front teeth!

We went to the dentist in November and the dentist said one was loose but it would probably be another 2 months before it came out. It was extremely loose over Thanksgiving, so we all tried to pull it. She was slightly freaking out, so we stopped.

About a week later it was hanging on by a thread, so we gave it another try. Even Emory tried! On this particular night, CC was ABSOLUTELY freaking out. She knew it was about to come out, but didn't want us to pull it. She even wanted us to drive to Mrs. ANgela's house so she could pull it out!
She was screaming and crying for about an hour.

Finally Bryan acted like he was just moving it and pulled it out. Can you tell by her swollen eyes that she had been crying hysterically?!
Once it came out, she was beyond excited and now every time you see her, she is holding her mouth so you can see her front tooth is missing. I think she feels older b/c of it! And I never thought I was say this..... but she is the CUTEST with her front tooth missing:):)

Rock Ranch

In early November we went to Rock Ranch with Gran and Pawpaw. The girls have been before, but this is the first time Bryan and I have been. It really is a neat, fun place and the girls LOVE it!

There is a slide built underground, so it looks like you are going into this big hill and coming out the bottom. (Sorry CC- I know you will kill me when you are older since I put a picture of your bum bum in the air!)

There is this little fake town that is kid sized. there is a theater, jail, firehouse, school, church, shopping, etc). It is so fun!

 church

 in jail-

they rode horse- Emory was so proud of herself for getting on it! and CC felt like it was so baby since she rides REAL horses now!

archery (see the underground slide in the background)

 train ride

 huge bounce house

 feeding the goats

we stopped by my Gran's house on the way home. We had to take a picture of the girls in front of her big tree in the back yard.

school pic

Here is CC on picture day! Doesn't she look beautiful?!

zoo trip

Emory's class did a zoo unit back in September. They learned about all the animals in the zoo. Emory absolutely loved it and was DYING to go the zoo. Soooooooo- that's what we did!

I swear- Emory probably told us 1,000 times that a giraffe's tongue was 21 inches long.
So, when we saw the giraffes at the zoo, she freaked out yelling about their tongues.
not sure she loved seeing their tongue up close!

We fed the flamingos  by putting the food on the railing and they would bend their heads to pick it up with their beaks.
FUN ZOO TRIP!

cousins

not sure they make 'em any cuter!!

love the look of CC and E's face!

We went to the park one day with all the cousins and I got to spend time with baby Whiting! She is such a good baby and loved hanging out with her Aunt Mallory:)

I took about 300 pictures of her swinging!
